Six Serbs died in the Hague jail, including President Milosevic, without being convicted. You're right Mladic wasn't one of them, yet.
(btw, Binder covered the Balkans for NYTs for over thirty years but when the conflict started he was replaced by someone the times could rely on to report as they wished.)

I am fairly certain a partial list is:

Milosovic (who claimed he was being poisoned, found dead in cell)

Djukic (Djukic became ill at the Hague prison, and was eventually returned to die in his homeland.)

Dokmanovic (found hung in cell, ruled suicide)

Drljaca (murdered in cold blood, never made it to jail)

Kovacevic (suffered a slow and painful death, unknown cause)

And at least one more.

A question, why would obama cancel the day of prayer that has been held every year by every president since Harry Truman but hold an islamic event attended by 3,500 muslims??

Just wondering what you thnk.

About thirty years ago some agency of the U S government offered to buy out American dairy farmers by paying them beef cattle prices for their dairy cows.
(that may have just been a program in the south, don't remember all the details.)

That agency figured 6% would sell but about 36% sold out.

Then in the name of attracting foreign investment we installed some foreign national somewhere in north Alabama with a 10,000 head dairy farm, giving him a 4% discount on his loans (4% cheaper than any U S citizen could get anywhere) from American banks and guaranteeing to pay those loans in case he defaulted.

I never did learn exactly where in north Alabama that was, do you know??

Ironic if it was near Arab.

Well, he didn't cancel it, in fact he still issued a proclamation recognizing it.

National Day of Prayer is on, despite court ruling - CSMonitor.com

The White House also appealed Crabb's ruling that the day was unconstitutional.

Danny Thomas was Lebanese, I always thought his daughter Marlo was a looker.

Another century like the last one and there won't be any real Lebanese left in Lebanon, they have been killed and terrorized into leaving just as the Serbs were ethnically cleansed from their heartland, Kosovo.

And everywhere the arab muslims conquer they claim everything for their own, such as arabic numerals which they really took from the hindus of the Indus valley.

In NYC the muslims have succeeded in having a school named 'Khalil Gibran' but he was never an arab muslim, he was Lebanese and brought up as a Maronite Christian.

The original Lebanese consider themselves to be of Phoenecian descent, the Phoenecians are very much responsible for originating the alphabet we use today and a lot of other things as well, they were one of, if not the most accomplished of ship builders, seagoing navigators and maritime traders of the ancient world.
