Gunner Kiel to transfer to Tennessee???

I'm not a big fan of this, simply because I do not want to create any kind of drama on the team. We already have 4 QBs that are highly regarded, why risk it?

Bring him on. Everything will sift through and we will know where we really stand in regards to QB play and rerouting.

Yeah we don't need him nor his talent because Worely is the answer....

We have no proven QBs whatsoever...would be stupid to pass on his talent...

but that's up to Butch and whether he feels comfortable bringing in a guy who seems to have made some questionable decisions

appears Butch has already contacted him...wouldn't be surprised at all to see Butch snag him.

where are you getting this info?

Anytime a 5 star number one at his position wants to come to Tennessee; you make room for him at all costs.

Not when that 5 star couldn't win the starting job at a school that plays a much weaker schedule than Tennessee does. We have plenty of talent at QB without adding another "Kelly Washington" type to the mix.

Kid seems like a head case that has a problem with not being the man! I'm sure he is talented but may not have toughness to ride the pine.

that is a pretty ridiculous comparison to KW

It's AP. Talent>>Experience. not saying Worley is bad; just saying if Peterman is better, he should play. What better way to get experience than a non-conference creampuff (no offense Clarksville)?

Besides, they both have the same amount of experience under CBJ.

I'm just concern on J Worley arm strength deep, it seem to me he doesn't put much zip on the ball.

It seems that there's more promise with Peterman, but Worleys got the experience. With two stud freshman qbs in waiting. I can't wait to see which one comes out on top!

how can you compare him to KW!
I know the fiasco with him committing to LSU to flip to ND.
But being an indecisive kid is hardly comparable to a drama queen.
I dont fully understand why he backed out on his LSU commitment but I do understand why he is leaving ND.

Dobbs or Riley will most likely transfer before there SR year I wont compare them to Kelly Washington.

Not sure... but I think you just said you slept with your mother, but I ain't gonna judge. :ermm:

Nonono...you read it wrong...his mom's boyfriend IS a hot chick!

Saw Gunner Kiel linked to a few SEC schools. Tennessee actually ISNT an option. Vols are not pursuing the exNotre Dame QB.

Kiel is an unproven talent. He was 3rd or 4th on the depth chart at ND for crying out loud. I mean Golson was not that good and he still beat Kiel out. How do you know he is so talented? Because of his HS stats?

You don't know how much talent our current QB's have because besides Worley, we haven't seen any of them play. Also if we have a shot at getting Cornwell (I think we do) then Kiel is an after thought.

Also this kid is a head case and most likely would flip after he committed anyway.

The following data was posted by Joe Schad at 2:41 pm (ET): "Former Notre Dame quarterback Gunner Kiel has visited Cincinnati but said Tuesday he also is interested in several other programs. . . . Kiel, who spent one season with the Irish, said he has been contacted by Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Kansas State, and that Tennessee, Ball State, Northern Illinois and Miami (Ohio) are also options. Kiel said he's not sure which school he'll visit next." See Ex-Notre Dame Fighting Irish QB Gunner Kiel visits Cincinnati Bearcats, mulling others - ESPN.

True that. When did they take the state off? or was it never there? I'm thinking this is a 50-0 game , hopefully with no injuries

Lol, I was actually just saying it's Austin Peay, we shouldn't worry but yeah, I don't ever remember a state in their going back to pre-Shuler days; maybe it was there before?

My point being, I would be open to whoever can run the offense better because neither is particularly experienced in our new offense. That said, sounds like Worley has caught on quicker but you just have to look at my NFL team to see an example of talent >>experience.

Getting Gunner is kinda like when you were a little kid and you kept just putting extra Parmesan cheese on your already cheese pizza. I would take as many QBs as we can
