Whenever I'm in Cordova, I eat there. Being out in Collierville, I don't stray to that part of town too often.

I used to love going to Sawyer's when I was at UT. Very good fingers. Not sure how long it was still there after I left.

I like Hot Hattie B's... I just think the name of the place is a little gimmicky. I mean, is there a real person name Hattie B that inspired the chicken or did they just come up with the name as a marketing gimmick to paint a picture in your mind of some Aunt Jemima character rolling up and frying some chicken on a hot Sunday afternoon after church?

hell, for that matter, is there a real person named "Gus" that the chicken was inspired by?

I'm just saying.
funny but I picture Hattie B as some west nashville soccer mom with a minivan and a cupcake fetish. Everyone knows that real Nashville hot chicken comes from Boltons and Princes. I see H Bs as the homogenized version for the white folks and tourists.
