Haha oh Lane Kiffin?

2011 was going to be the year under Kiffin. If his successor at UT isn't a complete idiot, UT should be at that point in 2012. 3 or 4 years my ass.

If you look at the roster when he left we had no talent so we had to recruit and dooleys 1st class will be the start and for them to get developed that will take 2-4 years, I think next year is when you start seeing results, 9-10 wins!

That was the prediction assuming his recruiting classes panned out and were still on the team.

Instead of kicking an easy Field goal he tries some stupid fake and failed miserably, so besides the fact that hes a liar, cheater and little ***** hes also a big idiot SO BE GLAD HE IS GONE, which most of us already are but think about how bad we would be in the future if he was still here? GO VOLS!

Maybe their kicker is as good as ours.

This entire thread is a Jeff Foxworthy joke. Get the hell over it. I can't really blame the guy for going to the school he truly loved when he had the opportunity for a massive pay raise that UT would never match. Plus, he got to avoid the small but vocal group of couch burning morons who would be sending that Cali boy who didn't understand or respect our traditions death threats by now if we weren't in the middle of a title run. 2011 was the year according to a large portion of this fan base. UT and Lane Kiffin are better off without each other. The pairing could have resulted in a lot of wins, and Kiffin did have some recruiting momentum, but I don't believe either side would ever be truly happy.

Can't blame LK for leaving for his dream job. Kudos on that. Can blame him for:

Running off scholarship players.
Making UT look like a circuis in the media while here.
Multiple violations.
Trying to steal UT recruits/signees on the way out.

He's a tard. If the OP wants to remind himself of the tard's tardedness, let him.

2011? :eek:lol:

Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, Justin Hunter, Da' Rick Rogers are all laughing their asses off right now.

Tennessee would plain suck this year under Kiffin too. The only plus he would have is Bryce Brown most likely wouldn't have taken his ball and went home.

We'd have Milton and Z. Rogers starting at WR instead of Da'Rick and Hunter(pre-injury).

Oh, but Ambles would be here. He'd be a Heisman candidate right now. :lolabove:

We offered to match. He just wanted to be at USC.

Yea, I know.

Lane Kiffin signed Hunter and Da'Rick right :eek:k:

And yes, I follow recruiting.

Let me know when Dooley's name pops up on the "Most Disappointing Recruiting Class in a Decade" list.

There's this line of thinking that its OK to break commitment to go to your dream job. That in the end, looking out for #1 is the most important aspect of life. I wonder how it would have been perceived if after that first year USC coaching wasn't open but Nick Saban said he wants to jump Bama and come to UT. Hammy then says to Kiffin that we are glad you came here for this one year, but our dream hire just unexpectedly became available so you are fired immediately and Nick is our head coach now.

Interesting thought. Imagine the turmoil in Bama if that happened. We thought burning mattresses was bad.

Kiffin was our coach at one time, so he will never fully go away. He's a part of Tennessee football in the history books so get used to hearing his name.

I didn't watch the game last night... Is he still going for 2 after every touchdown like a rahtard?

Dooley had signed Da'Rick

Kiffin had signed Ambles, who changed his commitment when Lane left

Yeah I would because the onside was a very creative call but when your in FG range you always take the points.

USC-Cal is a bit of a rivalry game if I remember right. Kiffin was attempting to hit his rival in the mouth early and take all of the momentum as anyone should. It was a bold decision that bombed, but it didn't matter much since SC still ended up winning. He isn't the first coach to look foolish after a failed trick play.

I don't believe that Lane Kiffin set the program back 3 or 4 years but what makes you think 2011 would have been "the year?" Was it his 5-15 record in the NFL? Or his current 19-12 record in college? Or his ability to recruit such studs as Nukese, Brown, Ambles, etc?

I can only imagine what this place would have been like if the Internet existed when Dickey left UT for UF.

I don't particularly like you, but I have to agree.

That would have been one hell of a trainwreck to watch.
