Hail to the Washington Commanders

if this guy is still a Redskin by tomorrow night, I am going to be upset

When approached by a detective about the incident, Hayneworth told authorities "I know what this is about, she is just upset that I have a white girlfriend."

"I couldn't tell you the last time I dated a black girl," He reportedly said. "She was trying to get with me."

Haynesworth, who had also reportedly told a security agent that his server had been "a little black girl," refused to answer additional questions, according to the documents

I like the move (trade down for more picks) and the Kerrigan pick. He is the Anti-Haynesworth. He can stop the run and rush the passer. I think he will do well with Orakpo. A little highlight video.

NFL draft 2011 analysis: Redskins address needs with Ryan Kerrigan and trade - The Washington Post

Skins could solve a bunch of problems in this draft. Pick up Mallet at 41 Jerrell Powe at 49 or maybe Cobb

Remaining picks
Round 2, Pick 9 (41) --
Round 2, Pick 17 (49) (From Jaguars)
Round 5, Pick 13 (144) --
Round 5, Pick 24 (155) (From New Orleans)
Round 6, Pick 12 (177) --
Round 7, Pick 10 (213) --
Round 7, Pick 21 (224) (From Indianapolis)
Round 7, Pick 50 (253) (Compensatory Selection)

Hankerson is definitely a good pick where they took him. I wonder when they take a QB.....round 4 perhaps?

I assume Rex Grossman will be resigned and start until whoever they draft(if they do) is ready. Or maybe sign someone(VY maybe, who I don't want) or trade(Palmer, who I don't want)

I guess since we drafted two runningbacks also, maybe we won't use a quarterback, we'll just run the wildcat every down....

RB was a need....I like the Helu pick....Royster isn't a bad pick either.....though a LB or QB would have been a better pick

So no QB.......that's interesting

John Beck? I'm not sold the Redskins are going to resign Grossman. I have no idea what will happen next year. But I think the picks were pretty solid, just wish they would have done more for the O-line.

Bottom line is the Redskins need help everywhere. Their best unit might be the secondary and it's still not very good. Had the 'Skins kept the 10th overall pick and gotten Gabbert, we'd at best be reliving the old Texans/David Carr commercial where he had no one else on his team. Build the team up and then getting a qb makes sense to me. The Redskins are a four/five year fix, we all know that. No need to rush things. I'm not even really sold on any qbs we could have gotten anyway.

How much does Haynesworth have left on his contract? Would the Broncos or Redskins be interested in a Haynesworth for Orton swap?

The Skins are reportedly "big believers" in Beck but I think it's more BS from Shanny. Its being reported that Shanny had no interest in any QBs this draft. We start Mcnabb at the begning of the season. This draft was all about picking up as many potential playmakers as possible

Leonard Hankerson is confident - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post

“Me as a player, I know i’m better than each one of those guys that was drafted before me,” Hankerson said on the Junkies Tuesday morning. “Hey, it’s over with now. I’m a Washington Redskin. I can’t do anything about it. Only thing that matters is what I do after the draft, so I’m looking forward to getting on the field with my new teammates, getting to meet my coaches and just having fun with them and proving [it] to everyone.”

Of course, I wouldn’t say anything differently,” Hankerson said. “Of course I think that. I feel I’m the best receiver in the draft, I feel like I can make plays, i can do everything the other players do. I feel like I can block, run routes, go up and get the ball. I make plays. I broke every single season record this year. I feel like I can do it all.”
