I think the decision to retain Jay Gruden is a sign that they are going to make a serious run at keeping “Kurt.” I've read multiple reports that they have a strong relationship. Even if one of them doesn’t know their others’ name. 😂

Kirk Cousins has reached 4,000 passing yards for the third straight season.

All other Redskins QBs have a total of two 4,000-yard seasons.

Uggh, not so sure after that press conference today, can’t imagine there’s any coming back from that one.

I think they move on as well.

The Skins don’t want to pay him and I don’t really blame them. He’s good, but not highest paid QB good

At this point I think you’re right but the frustration comes from the fact that it never should have gotten to this point, he should already be under a long term deal. He’s not highest paid good but, in a league where lots of teams are desperate to find QBs, shoving a top 10 guy out the door and pissing on his head as they do it just feels so very Washington.

But at this point he has ALL the leverage. Skins backed themselves into a corner with this one.

I think the presser was just a chess move. If Cousins wants to stay he needs to realize it’s a team game and needs to leave meat on the table for other pieces. He’s not going to San Fran now and the other truly viable options for Cousins all have glaring questions to be successful teams. If Cousins only wants money, let him walk. If he wants to win, take less money in order to put the puzzle together.

Rudolph spoke with Skins at the Senior Bowl.

IF Cousins walks, I don't think he'd be a bad choice. Could probably get him in the 2nd round, possibly have to trade back into the first late

Just change the name already. It’s not worth the hassle. And I’m starting to believe Cousins isn’t worth the hassle either. The money he’s apparently demanding will create a loser wherever he goes.
