Hail to the Washington Commanders

So serious question. What do you do with this team? Still have needs everywhere and is there a qb out there you absolutely want? (If you’re going to tell me Rodgers or Wilson, you better have a legit way to lure them in to this disaster).

The defense should be better than it is.

There's enough cap space to fill some of the needs (gotta convince them to come to WSH).

Either trade for a QB (I don't want Rodgers, he's too old. I'd take Derek Carr if LV wanted to go a different direction), or draft one and hope they develop (I'd take Pickett and that's about it round 1).

*It's not so much that I don't want Rodgers, I don't want to give up the draft capital it would take for a 38 year old QB

You willing to eat Carr’s contract, find at least one more receiver, O-line help, and whatever has to be done to make the defense competent? I’m not sure how that works honestly. And I don’t think I want to know what we give away to get Carr.

sad too watch,
my late .dad, who attended redskin games in late 1940s. was life-time fan
life-time vol fan, too, who i wouldve loved the heupel rebirth

Carr has a $19.7 cap hit next year and is an UFA in '23 (so you'd have to do an extension).

A healthy Samuel is that WR. Will need some OL help via FA/draft.

A new DC would be a good start.

I mean there is no easy fix. But at least there's cap room to try and make something happen.

How much cap space will the fighting WFTs have?
