Seriously, setting aside those who say win at all costs and dignity be darned, do you really think that fans of other teams were hoping that Boston would use her Covid year to return to SC? That she didn't is SC's misfortune, but other teams are happy that we won't be facing her (or other superb athletes who turned pro by foregoing their extra year).

Now, hoping for injuries is going too far for most (but not all) fans. But chemistry issues? Ego clashes? Those don't bother me at all, particularly when both parties are at fault. The coach ought to count the potential fallout when adding any recruits or transfers. And when big egos are too selfish to get along and that weakens their team, I'm not about to feel miserable or be unhappy about their situation. There are plenty of other teams available where they can be The Show.
