Hair Cuts During Covid 19?

My wife cut mine again yesterday. She was a little more confident this time and it went well. Honestly think I may just let her do it from now on.

My mom used a Flowbee 2 weeks ago with relatively surprising(very good) results. I've never tried to rock a shaved or mostly shaved head and don't think I could pull it off so I gave in and used it 4 days ago. I stayed mostly clear of the forehead and am perfectly fine with the results. It feels really good not to have all that extra hair in the back and I'm a ball cap wearer. I can't imagine how long the lines will be for haircuts once things reopen and I imagine it'll take days to weeks to get an appointment unless you know someone.

The guy who does my wife's hair let her know that many of his customers have been paying in advance for his work to help him keep hearth and home together while he's out of work. Sounded like a shakedown to me. Guess I'll find out if it worked next time I look at our statements.

My barber is in his 80s. I have a feeling that he may go ahead and retire after this.

If you want a haircut in the next 3-4 months you better do it yourself or get someone to help. When they open barbershops back up you can guarantee they will only allow a few customers at a time and probably use every other chair. It’ll be interesting to see what this does to the industry, could be a lot of people that decide their wife does a decent job for free and not go back for a while.

Liked for the donating.
My hair has to be either really short, buzz cut. Or at least shoulder length. Anything else drives me crazy.

Thankfully I have been at my work long enough where they know I am not a dirty hippy.

Also I dont know why women complain about maintaining it. I feel its self inflicted stuff. I just use shampoo. Takes longer to wash, but who doesnt enjoy the shower? And longer to dry, but it's usually good to go by the time I get to work. I spend more time on my beard than my hair.

I put it up if I have to, but let hang long most of the time.

I cut my husband's hair last night! it's a little nerve-wracking when you haven't done anything like that before, luckily it all turned out okay and we both were impressed with how well I did! :D

I usually cut my own hair and have my wife double-check it and get around my ears and the back of my neck. If you don't do a temporary mohawk, then you're doing it wrong. :)

My wife always starts with a reverse mohawk, one buzzed row right down the middle. Luckily I've managed to prevent any pics while I'm in that vulnerable state.
