Halftime "Show"

I like baseball, but college players are typically the biggest douchebags on campus.

I rather like baseball myself, and am looking forward to this year's BaseVols. However, I am not looking forward to having our team lose to East Tennessee State and USC Upstate.

As for the halftime show, I honestly haven't got a chance to see one, so I can't comment on how bad it may or may not be.

The comedian Gallagher termed baseball "15 minutes of action jam packed into two and a half hours of play"

The same can be said of football, except football is 18 minutes according to one study.

But baseball has provided great names like Rusty Kuntz and Dick Pole....

Whoever was hitting the baseballs into the crowd nearly drilled a line drive right into my face. Next time they bring the team out for a halftime show, they should at least give advance notice so I can bring a glove or something.

Were you in the front of the student section? We saw a hot line drive go right into the first few rows. Laughing about whether or not someone got rocked was actually the highlight of the show (no offense if it was "almost" at your expense :p).

Oh sorry, I know you wanted the Rolling Stones to play half time, but they were booked.

Actually, I was hoping that the Hatvol Arm-wrestling Championship would come to fruition.

Or, maybe we could have Steven Pearl drive the lane against a bunch of guys 6 inches and 40 times more athletic than him over and over, just to watch the ball get packed by the other guys' elbows. I know we get to see it every game, but it never gets old.

Yep. 2nd row next to the band.
