Harris finally tells the truth

Some of my success was driven from my father getting a good paying maintenance job with no college education in the 70s. Black people weren't getting those jobs. And now those jobs don't exist. Our racist past still matters today. I'm not saying it has to be welfare. But why can't we subsidize manufacturing like we do farming? How is the drug war working? These are problems we used to fix.

How about ending subsidies all together. While we are at it lets let companies go back to aptitude testing like prior to Griggs vs Duke Power, that ruling hurt and limited opportunity to the poor of all races more than anything. We also need to raise education standards and expectations in our public schools, no more social advancement coupled with a trade tract option so that when a kid graduates HS they are employable.

Agree on ending the war on drugs.

If you didn't watch the clip and only read clikbait headlines, I can see why you may think that.

All she really said is not everyone is starting out from the same place, and we should do more to help those that started with less.

I know I've cited this story before but there is no dearth of people who would sign up (at least initially, because the like the "idea") for Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron world of government enforced equality.

I don't like it...not one bit.

I really don't think the average Democrat sees it. It's not something they think their party is capable of. They brush it off as outliers amongst their party. One day they'll wake up and it will be too late.

The average Democrat doesn't understand it. It is those in power who know this,They don't care about the traditional Democrat, their focus is on the socialist and marxist base.

The important question is WHO should do more to help?

Both Biden and Harris are left-of-center moderates. But they are pro-police, anti-violence, and seek middle class tax reform. Trying to sell them as radicals is just not working.
LOL If the whore is a moderate, I am Atilla the Hun.

You understand that those rules will not apply to marxist billionaires, it will be us who will suffer. The gap between the powerful and regular americans will become too wide to close.

This is an imbecilic comment.

Good sir, no matter what you are reading or watching you should take comfort in the fact that this election does not matter.

On one side is is a pawn of right wing interests and capital who presents as a vulgar entertaining buffoon. And on the other is a center- right slightly less bufoonish pawn of corporate America

There is nothing at stake other than being mildly amused/entertained at observing the melt down of the losing side.

This election will only determine which winning side's donor class gets to profit from selling out the citizenry.

Sit on the sidelines, my ass. I wanna play.
Except that an `18 year old 300 pounder that can run faster than I could fall out of an airplane and hit the earth will be putting a hit on me. Not sure these bones could take that.
