Zagsblog has comments from Tobias Harris and his father regarding the West Virginia visit and the status of his recruitment up now.

nothing new.. They handle the recruiting process the way I would with my kid. Leaves the fans guessing but a good thing overall for keeping distractions low for their family.

Tobias and Torrel are being very methodical about this recruiting process. You have to respect that.

my gut says Since I cheer for the Vols Tobias will go elsewhere. I havent had a good sports stretch here. The Lakers and Yankees and Gators win titles. The Patriots are getting healthy and will probably knock off the Colts. The Vols football team went 5-7 last year.The BallerVols lost in the first round to Chokelahoma St and that fat point guard THUG Byron Eaton. So Its been a bad stretch so I think Tobias will go stick it in my heart and turn it sideways. Sheesh it sucks to be this guy (this year anyways)

I've heard a lot of UL and WVU fans say that he's coming to UT. You won't get that from a UK or Cuse fan though so it's impossible to predict. It's even funny to listen to people talk about who he follows on Twitter, which is also a dead end since he has a bit of everyone on there lol.

Harris wants to play point forward right? Looking at his past forwards it doesn't seem like Harris would really fit into how Huggins uses them..

I guess you could say Joe Alexander is as close to Tobias as the other guys..

He just missed Beasley didn't he?

Not sure about Huggins but I know he was close to signing with a few Big East schools.

Ebanks played point guard at times last season. Why in the world would anyone have tried to play Danny Fortson, one of the most efficient post scorers of the last 25 years in college basketball, in a ballhandling position?

Hat, could this be true?
This would be quite a haul. I'm not getting my hopes up on these guys until it happens though. Until then, I'm getting my recruiting "fix" from football.

Rob Lewis on VolQuest seems to think UT holds a slight edge in the Harris sweepstakes, and that we have a solid lead with Pinkston. This conclusion was drawn from talking to people from both "camps".

I forgot about Butler. The others I wouldn't have guessed were coached by Huggins if my life depended on it.. Tobias probably wouldn't know either.. In recent years, there's not much Huggs can sell Tobias on as far as the point-forward utilization. Tyler Smith probably sounds more attractive to Tobias, but Ruben Patterson probably appeals more to Torrell
