Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Must have been more accepting for the second time around. I Was able to put expectations and preconceptions aside and just enjoy the movie more! Not that it was not a good movie the first time around.

:)

Went and saw it today and overall I thought they done good with it, could have went more into detail and done the Battle of Hogwarts like they did in the book, IMO it took a little bit from the movie...I agree with those who said they concentrated on teenage hormones a bit, that made it kind of sappy, but also that was kind of true to the book...Lavendar and Hermoine and everything with Ron, I did think that was kind of funny...Overall it was a good movie, wouldn't mind going back and seeing it

Hadn't watched any of the movies until a couple weeks ago, my son and I have been catching up through Netflix, good movies so far....watching "Prisoner of Azkaban" now.

If the weather cooperates we'll be going to the drive-inn at Sparta this weekend to watch the new H.P. and Transformers movies.

Out of the movies the Goblet of Fire was my personal favorite because IMO that's when the story line of everything starts coming together with Voldermort....I just went back and seen it for the 2nd time today...Worth it

yeah, the storyline starts to really pick up after around the 4th movie. as far as the books go....the goblet of fire novel was probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite in the series behind only the deathly hallows and maybe the half blood prince.

Agreed. As far as the novels go my definite favorite was the Deathly Hallows, it kept me intrigued the whole time....My second favorite was probably the Chamber of Secrets or Goblet of Fire, you could interhcnage those two...I just hope when they split the 7th movie they don't leave a whole lot of important things out because there really is a lot in that book that explains why everything else had happened and answers a lot of unknowns about Voldermort

My favorite books in order (it's so hard, because they are all so good).

1. Half-blood Prince
2. Chamber of Secrets
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Order of the Phoenix
5. Deathly Hallows
6. Prisoner of Azkaban
7. Sorceror's Stone

Good order, only one I disagree with is having the Deathly Hallows at #5, that was my favorite one other than that I agree

all of the books are great, but chambers of secrets has always been my least favorite in the series. i don't know why

1. Deathly Hallows
2. Goblet of Fire
3. Half Blood Prince
4. Sorcerer's Stone
5. Prizoner of Azkaban
6. Order of the Phoenix

i'll go ahead and admit that i gave twilight a chance partly because i had family that liked it alot. dialogue was awful throughout the film and the acting was terrible. that combined with several cheesy scenes made the film hard to watch.

the ending almost redeemed it since it was ok for that kind of movie i guess, but it still kinda sucked. i've never read the books but i'll just assume they're better. the whole series just seems too bubblegum like for my tastes. i just have no idea why people try and compare these two series when they're nothing alike. HP is more in league with epics like LOTR and Star Wars. Twilight is a romance series with some action in between.

also, vampires don't sparkle. they just don't.........
