Hart has to stop playing around and start finding a proven guy, Gruden is not comimg to the college level, Go get TCU, Patterson, hell right now I'd take Jim Tressell , look at Ohio State this year, yes he got into trouble but HE PAID HIS FINE..

and Tressel will continue to pay that fine till December 19, 2016 when the show-cause ends for him. If UT hired him the 'AA would hammer us. We are on probation already and the penalties would follow him here, because we can not "show cause" to hiring him without the penalties.

If someone was offering me that kind of coin, I would not cancel a meeting. In fact, I would show up an hour early...

People forget that Gruden has never coached CFB before and hasn"t coached since Jan 2009 so this would be a big step. He does have a family involved regarding the job and right now the ony pessure on him is what to wear on MNF. I'm willing to bet money is not the issue at all.

I'm glad we don't have a moron that would offer a coach who has never been a college head coach a contract without going over a list of things. You don't tie up 6+ million dollars in someone just because their name is Jon Gruden. There are variables that must be addressed.

Unfortunately you're wrong. If u look at the program as a business, which is exactly what it is, 6 million is a bargain for all the publicity we get. Which in turn leads to recruits. Recruiting is everything. The most successful (Saban) are the most consistent recruiters. Everyone agrees gruden would be a rockstar on the recruiting trail. Plus he's a superbowl winning coach. U think hart need to have a conversation to ensure he's capable of the job!
