Has CBJ 'Sacked' Tennessee's Spring Football Tradition?

I posted about the Spring Game because I prefer how it had normally been in the past: 2 squads competing against each other, making a practice/scrimmage event more game-like. I think having the defense score and the game score getting to triple digits is silly.

I also wanted to see how many posters would call me names without making any kind of substantive point. Like usual on this board, a whole heap of attack-goons lash out at what they don't like and disapprove of, calling me an idiot and stupid, and so on.

Have a Happy Easter, all you haters...

But you didn't address those of us that made logical points in favor of this year's O & W game. You also ignored everyone that pointed out that the format changes from year to year. That makes you look like just as much of a "hater".

Why did CBJ screw with a Tennessee Tradition?

Under Coach Jones, we no longer have a real Orange and White Game. What we have now is an offense versus defense scrimmage...more like a glorified practice than the long-standing Spring time Tennessee Orange and White Game.

The Defense scores points? What's up with that?! It's like some sort of fantasy thing than a game between two squads or 'teams'.

Bring back the old school 'Orange' squad offense and defense, versus a 'White' squad of offensive and defensive players! Make it more like a real game.

Come on...the defense scores points for things other than a TD? Give me a break!

Anyway that's my opinion...:whistling:

Dooley did it too

What was so traditional about our spring games before the last 2 spring games? We've had the 2nd highest attendance in our spring game history the last 2 years. Obviously he's doing something right.
