Has KY ever played worse than this?

Tonight I'm actually most proud of the Vols Defense. They played their butts off all night and made a number of very athletic plays. The offense was good but did make some mistakes and left some points out there tonight. Frankly, if we have another super game by the defense against UGA I like our chances of pulling off the win even better as I look for our offense to be super juiced next week. GBO!

I thought this was going to be a battle of a decent football team. KY just got outta sync fast and never recovered. And I thought our D wasn't supposed to be good? They showed out tonight.
has Kentucky ever faced a crowed like this?.. Have they ever faced this type of team with the money spent with the new AD.. No,, they fell just like Alabama did.

I think the question should be "has KY suffered a worse beating than this after running their mouths all season" and the answer is a resounding "NOPE!". Follow that blue moon home. Goodbye and good riddance.

Their plan was for Rodriguez to run over us for 45 minutes of the game. That fell apart after the interception in the Red Zone.
They had no backup plan.
The playcalling was not play to win. They still ran the ball when they couldn't run the ball.
Even with Levis being mediocre, Stoops and the OC should have put the game in his hands to attempt some knockout plays.
They did not even attempt it.

Credit where credit is due. That was a GREAT defensive effort. If they play like that, this team can go all the way. I don’t think the offense was hitting on all cylinders and still put up 44 points. Think about that. They just put so much pressure on the opponent to keep up. If they ever play a perfect game, look out.
