The team didn't show up that day. It was like a funeral.

I've often wondered how things would've turned out if CPF had promoted from within - changing the offense so drastically was a mistake. I'm guessing he would have coached at least 3-5 more seasons.

It wouldn't have mattered if they had been playing the University of Paraplegics, they weren't winning that game. After MH's mid season deflating, there was no way the players were in any mental shape to play. They had been stabbed in the heart mid season. What a stupid decision on MH's part. Plain dumb.

Conversely, had he not been fired mid season I don't believe they would have won that Ky game. There was more on the line for Ky than us. In the end, the team wanted that game for CPF more carrying him off the field. It wasn't a win over Ky, it was a coach win.
