No. I do have a 25 year old Greenpeace tee shirt that I may stumble across once a summer. My daughters got RBG tee shirts for Christmas. I'm sure that some are offended by those,
I do have several Jimmy Carter items but they're more of a collectible.
Only enough time to quickly respond to one, so I pick Hogg.
I stated that the red MAGA hat was becoming a symbol (no longer just a hat) much like the confederate flag or swastika.
You can disagree all you wish, but it's a fact.
People disagreed with the confederate flag becoming the symbol which it became, but it didn't change the reality.
I'm sure some disagreed with the way the symbolism of the swastika evolved, but it didn't change the reality.
Of course I don't find wearing a hat as equally disgusting as physical assault, no one does, that's absurd.
What I find equally disgusting is knowingly displaying a symbol that has come to represent bigotry, hatred, and racism to a critical mass of society.

Good post. (for the most part) I think I go on more vacations than 90% of the country and I have loads of interactions out in that proverbial real world. I agree with most of what you say. We are all much more alike than we are different, which is all the more reason to be saddened to witness what Trump is doing to this country.
Just stating an opinion, I’m sure people who do wear them disagree with me. Politics isn’t a game, there are no teams. If you feel so personally connected to a party or politician that you want to show pride in them by wearing apparel you may need to re-evaluate the way you view politics and how much you let it effect you, again jmo.Maybe not to the person wearing them. I fail to see the difference in that verses wearing clothing that supports sports teams or specific schools, etc.

Sides aren’t forced.Politics is the biggest game in town. And sides are forced. And if you don't pick Team Lib, you are all kinds of bad things. And if you are Team Red and express your views in any form or fashion you will be assaulted.
I do not own political support apparel. Don't think I ever have that I recall. I am conservative, and could care less if anyone wears Lib shirts or Red shirts. and I'm certainly not going to jump on and assault someone for walking down the street in Lib agenda apparel. Or for going to buy a cup of coffee, or whatever.
For those that do wear political apparel publically, it's a choice that does not warrant judgement or persecution in either direction. It says more of the character and mental instability of those doing the bashing than it does of those doing the wearing.
Hasn’t Trump cursed a few times at his rallies? When seeing liberal behavior in the press at any of these protests, their inability to intelligently communicate with any kind of personal control reminds me of a sign in an old pool hall we went to growing up. (They didn't allow cursing).
"Profanity is the layman's way of trying to express themselves intelligently with limited awareness and vocabulary,"
True. As long as we acknowledge the sequence of events. I would also add that just as people should voice their lack of acceptance and tolerance for that type of disgusting unprovoked violence, people should also clearly voice their lack of acceptance and tolerance for the "I know he's disgusting and horrible....but they all are" train of thought; because that's truly the train that's running us off the rails.
A bunch.....a ton of bumper stickers. It isn't because people are afraid to wear them either. One incident 10 years ago didn't create that much fear.........oh wait, what a dumbass, this is liberals I am talking about. That’s when he was elected... How many Obama shirts you see today?

1959 here......Happy to say that I am 7-4 (although, I was ambivalent about Clinton's 2nd term) and looking forward to 8-4 in 2020. It's like Bama looking at UT the last few years......1960 - Missed voting for him by 2 years. My first presidential vote was in the 1980 fiasco; an epiphany for me and the true beginning of deficit spending for the US.
