Hat Crimes

So there are many that also view an Obama shirt as a symbol of hate and divisiveness. I didn't personally make that decision society did. Don't shoot the messenger.

If you are actually going to make a statement like this you are going to have to back it up with some facts. Please feel free to share with the group examples of Obama apparel discrimination.

Where are your facts?

I never saw "Hope" shirts as diversionary, nor did anyone I know. Reason is because we (my fiends and I) are smart enough to know that doesn't necessarily reflect hate and we respect the the Office.........unlike those on the left who look there first.
I despised Obama and think he's the most racially divisive president we've had in the modern era. That being said an Obama shirt is no more or less a symbol of hate than a maga hat. It's something the left has fabricated. The only thing it symbolizes is that they lost the election. Trump was never considered a racist until he won the election.

FYI...I didn't care for him as well. I was just saying those shirts didn't automatically (to me) indicate "hate" like "MAGA" seems to based on the "left"

I understand. The point I was trying to make is that the maga hat being a symbol of hate or racism is 100% fabrication made up by the left and the MSM. Just because the left want to make Trump a racist, doesn't make him one. They can't wish him a racist and all if a sudden he is one. The reason they think it's a symbol of hate is because they "hate" the fact he beat their crime family headed up by Hillary.

I don't even like Trump, hate much of the stuff he tweets and his past, but he's done nothing that would be considered racist. It's nothing more than part if the lefts campaign to destroy Trump.

You just do not get it.......there are not any "examples" because the people who do not like BHO did not resort to physical contact just because of a piece of clothing.
You can not win this, and it is not even close.

There are no examples of it because it didn't exist. You just spouted some idiotic fake news about there being Obama apparel hate and you failed. There was nothing divisive about Obama, he didn't actively or passively try and divide the country like Trump has. Perhaps whatever contempt you have/had for Obama isn't political at all and may be something you need to work on as a person. The hat is a symbol of hate because it represents Trump. If you want to remain willfully ignorant on what Trump is and what he stands for then that is a you problem and nobody can help you with it.

Trump = Hitler therefore hate justified as well as actions against those wearing maga hats.

I’ve made it clear on this forum that i am not a trump supporter. Your post and this attitude is concerning.

No, it's a you problem. "The hat is a symbol of hate........because it represents Trump. Nothing divisive about Obama"......your opinion, not facts.

"Obama, he didn't actively or passively try and divide the country like Trump has"..........your opinion, not fact. Yet, you think your opinion is fact.

Just as you call someone else willfully ignorant of their opinion, others feel the same about your opinion.

Lighten up. None of your "people" care about you or your plight, not one of your side's elected officials would piss on you if you were on fire, same for the other side. Stop doing anything other than despising both parties because make no mistake, they collectively are laughing at the entirety of the populace and love nothing more than people who continue to lick up the sh** they speak.

'You hate America?': Bar faces backlash after bartender is filmed refusing to serve man in 'MAGA' visor

The ownership and management of Jake’s Dilemma would like to directly address an incident which occurred at the bar this past week and has been making its way around social media. We would like everyone to know that we strive to remain completely apolitical and welcome customers with all beliefs and affiliations with the same first-rate level of customer service. Jake’s Dilemma is not a place promoting any specific political ideology, nor a place where we want anyone to feel unwelcome. Rather, we encourage all to eat, drink, socialize and enjoy themselves at our bar. Our staff and management team include people from all walks of life and beliefs. There is no singular or any defining character of Jake’s Dilemma. With all this in mind, we do fully acknowledge that one of our employees took it upon himself to wrongly promote his political views. We can assure everyone that this employee has been disciplined and will be retrained before being allowed to serve at Jake’s Dilemma. We hope to see you at Jake’s Dilemma next time you are in the neighborhood.”

Florida School Bus Aide Apologizes for Removing Trump Hat from Student’s Head

A Florida bus aide has apologized after a school bus surveillance video captured her demanding that a middle school student remove his MAGA hat last week. When the student did not comply with her demand, the aide physically removed the hat from the 14-year-old student’s head.

A Martin County, Florida bus aide has apologized in a written statement after she was caught on video yelling at 14-year-old Hidden Oaks Middle School student Gunnar Johansson last week, demanding that the student take off his hat, which had “Trump” written on it in big letters at the top, with the words, “Make America Great Again” written underneath the president’s name.

What does Trump stand for?

If you want to offer up examples of Obama dividing the country then I'll be here waiting for it.

The hat is a symbol of hate but if you disagree I'd encourage you to film a video of yourself for a day going into public areas wearing the hat and post it for us all.

Having said that lets go back to the basics... I'm quite sure you heard from at least one person growing up that you should probably keep who you voted for to yourself. This is clearly one of those reasons. Don't wear the hat advertising that you voted for Trump.

Absolute parent failure! Don't involve your underage child who can't even vote in with your politics. There is enough stress on children to just simply grow up to not add this unnecessary BS to their day.

People have asked you on multiple occasions to offer up examples of Trump being a racist and you've failed to do so. He's less of a racist than Obama who was president during the creation Antifa and BLM. He's threw gasoline on the flames continuously. Trump being a racist is a propaganda campaign by yours side because you lost the election. Trump was never considered a racist and was embraced by the Hollywood left until he ran and won as a Republican. A mana hat is not a symbol of anymore than an Obama shirt is a symbol of hate. The only symbol it is for your side is you lost an election and your socialist ideals took a step back.

I agree about not wearing your political stuff in public. If only the dems would follow that rule and trash their Obama rags.

Didn't vote for Trump, once again your programmed brain can't comprehend an individual, instead of the D vs. R.

I have no problem wearing the hat, and it would prove nothing except that people like you are sheep and slaves to the political party you obsess over (as stated, not a Trumper or Trump voter), and would be dealing with emotionally weak and small minded drones who quite simply are average to below average in civil standing and mental acuity.

Thus, the act of wearing the hat because of my having no connection to it only would prove the complete buffoonery that your ilk would show and prove with the childish "physical" outburst. And make no mistake, unlike the other people who have been picked on, this ain't the guy you'd want to try it with.

Obama, believe what you will, doesn't matter to me how you perceive him.

The better experiment would be for three people to wear a hat. One with a Rebel flag and the words "the South will Rise Again", one with a swastika and the word "Nationalism", and one with the red MAGA hat and judge the similarities and differences in how people react to them. I think the reactions would be similar. But I agree....all 3 are just hats. And all flags are just pieces of cloth.

And all idiots are just dumbasses.

I would look at the guy wearing the NAZI hat and think "what a Luther"! The other two I wouldn't give a second thought about.
