This

Time to fire Hart, Cheek, and Martin. Skeeter said Cheek and Martin are the two biggest problems. According to Ainge, we had Butch Davis with an excellent staff and Cheek stopped it. My guess is Martin had a lot to do with this. Ainge confirmed my suspensions about the AD Compliance staff not wanting to work for their pay check. We have a bunch of Nancy's in the AD and they all need to go. Skeeter has said about as much also.

MARTIN and CHEEK are the two that need to receive a lot of pressure about this FUBAR situation.

This is a right to work state. Fire all the Nancy's in the AD. Buy out Hart and Cheek (mr gator and mr bama)

Dave, is that you? You are incompetent, silly...now please leave. You got what you wanted...you destroyed a storied program.

You realize that all of you are complaining about getting your own expectations up and then being disappointed when we didn't get your #1 guy, despite the fact that we've gotten a proven winner as a coach. No, he hasn't won in the SEC yet, but this is a damn good chance for him to start. Hart was in no way obligated to appease you whiners by telling you that your guy (Gruden) was not an option. You were not entitled to any information and have absolutely no right to be upset about not receiving that information, because truly, it's none of your business. We've got an upgrade over Dooley. Just because Dooley is gone doesn't mean you have to find someone else to ***** about.

We didn't get our #1 guy, but we got a huge upgrade over Dooley. I don't see the problem.
I don't know if anyone can say it's a HUGE upgrade over Dooley yet. Time will tell. Right now, he hasn't coached a single down at Tennessee. I will be very interested to see how Jones recruits at Tennessee. Who knows, he might be a good recruiter that just needs a place like Tennessee and it's facilities to make him a great recruiter. In my opinion, the recruiting is going to be the first indicator to gauge if he is a HUGE upgrade or not.

Well to be fair, it doesn't take much to be a huge upgrade over Dooley.

Excuse me, but Hart does "owe" me information. I buy season tickets and donate my hard earned money to UT. I spend a lot of money on weekends at Knoxville. So yes that does entitle me to information. If you can't see that this coaching hire needed to a home run and was totally botched, then you keep wasting your money on an incompetent AD and program

You choose to buy season tickets and donate. Your decisions do not entitle you to anything other than results. If those results don't happen, then you have a right to be upset. But to claim that the coaching hire was botched when the guy has proven to be a winner in his previous stops and before he's even played a damn game is stupid. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong if Jones doesn't work out, but the negativity surrounding the program is both ridiculous and contributing to our spiral into irrelevance.

To understand the frustration, forget the previous coaching staff and focus solely on Coach Jones. While everyone is quick to discuss his winning percentage at Cincinnati, they neglect to examine those wins.

Butch Jones record at Cincinnati:
23 wins in 3 years
4 wins were against FCS teams
10 wins were against FBS teams with a losing record in the regular season
5 wins were against FBS teams that finished 6-6
4 wins against teams that finished with winning seasons

Of those 4 winning teams, 3 were 7-5 in the regular season. Only 2010 Miami (OH) was better at 9-3.

Summary: In 3 years at UC, Butch Jones has won only 1 game against a FBS-level school with fewer than 5 losses in the regular season.

We're already learning a lot more about Butch Jones.

Not impressed that Tennessee is simply getting the Cincy staff. If he pulls together a Top-10 recruiting class, I'll start getting over it.
