I get up this morning and read many comments here. It doesn't amaze me anymore because it's common with some of our fans. But, people placing blame on Worley ALMOST amazed me once again.
Imagine being that kid this morning! He is hurting all over. He stood tall. He took shots all night long and still managed to be clutch on many 3rd downs to keep us in it. We could have had a young Manning behind center last night and still gotten beat as badly. 75% of the QB's in CFB would have gotten extremely rattled last night in his cleats.

I would hate to be #55 during game film. He alone is responsible for about 75% of the abuse Worley got last night.

Nobody with two-licks of sense is blaming Worley for last night.

For that matter, within the team, I'm sure he went from being "the leader" to being "The Man." It was one of the toughest performances I've seen from a UT QB since Shuler / Bama 92.

Considering the game, I thought Worley played well...! He was running for his LIFE most of the night. The OL definitely needs to get better though.

Worley's friends today are the whirlpool and trainer and
favorite colors are orange, black, and blue. :p

GO VOLS!

Freak, is there any way to give this post excess likes? I could only give one.

Worley played exceptional. Volnation should be proud. Without a couple bad breaks and Striker in his face all night, he played very well

Worley has nothing to be ashamed of. Extremely tough kid. And I was one of his biggest critics until this year. He has really stepped up his game this year. Very proud of him! :good!:

I haven't seen one post that blames Worley for the loss. This is just another thread bashing other posters for no real reason.

Worley is a tough leader for this team. Not sure why he would be blamed for the loss. Although I wish he'd not thrown the pick six as we looked like we had some momentum building, it was the OU defense that was hitting him all night that made the difference in that area. Overall, a hard fought game.

Our fans (myself included) are just sick of losing. Tired of coming out of these big contests having to find "silver linings" in the storm clouds of double-digit losses. It is old. After basically a decade of ineptitude on the field, you'll need to just us all some slack. I think we've got mental damage from having to suffer through Lane Kiffin and Derek Dooley.

I'd hate to be an HIV positive African dirt farmer whose entire family just got diagnosed with Ebola. Worley is on a full scholarship getting Lord knows what kind of fringe benefits and gets his name splashed all over national television weekly.

Check out the game thread. I don't think anyone put the loss on him but we had a few low information fans trashing him for the ints.

You know when people say "it can always get worse"? This is what they mean.

Worley stood in there and took some licks showing great heart but he also made some bone headed decisions. It's not all one or the other.
