Hate to say it but am rooting for Bama to beat the brakes off GA SECCG

UGA needs to win out (or at least win the SECCG) assuming we win out, that leaves us as a 1 loss team, wtih the only loss to the #1 team. We no longer control our destiny, but still a good shot if we win out (and look good doing it)

You guys are not seeing the WHOLE picture.
All these have to happen first
1. TCU and Clemson BOTH need to lose during regular season
2. Oregon has to lose during regular season
3. TN has to win out
4. Bama HAS to beat Ole Miss next week regardless what happens tonight

THEN IF:?
1. LSU wins out AND loses to GA we slide in 4th spot
2. LSU wins out AND beats GA we are out but probably 7th
3. Bama wins out and loses to GA we slide in 4th spot
4. Bama wins out AND beats GA we probably get the 6th spot

MORAL of the story?
We actually need GA to win the SEC against either LSU or Bama
AND BOTH
TCU and Clemson need to lose
Thx.

Kinda feel like we need bama to lose tonight and either Georgia just run the table or lose to Kentucky.

Need GA to win out & Bama to lose… no way they put 3 SEC teams in playoffs & no way they don’t put a GA team that only lost the sec championship game in the playoffs

First, we need to handle our business. Sell Neyland out for Mizzou. Show this team we are still behind them. Beat Mizzou. Beat South Carolina. Beat Vandy. Let the chips fall where they may.

But, heck no. We want to make the playoffs at all costs. That would be such a huge accomplishment for the program. For that to happen, we need UGA to win the SEC. Then we will get our shot at UGA again on a neutral field in a 1 vs 4 matchup.

2. Georgia wins out including SECCG
3. TCU and Clemson lose
4. Wildcard could be ole miss. If LSU wins tonight and ole miss beats bama next week. Ole miss could finish 11-1 in that scenario.
5. I don’t think Oregon’s resume with a blow out lose to Georgia gets them in the playoffs

Bama can still win out but HAS to lose in the SEC champ game.

I quit taking people seriously on here who think TCU matters in any way to the SEC’s chances of getting two teams in the playoff….. you are smoking a crack pack if you think a 13-0 TCU is a lock for the playoff.

TCU doesn’t need to do anything for our chances. Clemson even with a loss tonight likely still gets in as a 12-1 ACC champ

If Bama wins out and beats an undefeated GA team then there is no scenario in which Tenn will make the playoff.

Exactly. That scenario means UGA and Bama are in the playoff like last year.

UGA goes 13-0 and Tennessee will get in. Regardless of little ole TCU.

If Georgia goes 13-0 and Tennessee dominates their remaining game then the Vols will have a strong case to be in top 4. Bama winning their remaining games before playing GA would also help Tennessee.
