Hate to say it, but this is the all day, every day Duke/Coach K tourney…

That was a tough one. I was pulling for your guys. I like Davidson’s program and McKillop.

I grew pretty much 5 minutes away from Morreene rd . I spent most of my Winter break one year sleeping on buddies couch who lived in a townhome that was right on Morreene. Small world.

Same here, I lived on Bridgefield Place for a bit. I miss it down there.

I remember you saying that before. What years did you go to Northern?
Graduated in 89. Coach K’s oldest daughter, Debbie, was in my graduating class. Steve Spurrier’s son (Spurrier was coaching at Duke at the time) was in the class behind mine.

Close game in crunch time. As I’ve stated before, Duke doesn’t shine in these positions this year due to their lack of quality juniors and seniors to lead the team.

Debbie is kind of a loose cannon. I would never want to piss her off. My parents used to party with Spurrier back when he was coach. There are some good stories there .

I knew Debbie, but I didn't know her well. We never had any classes together. She always seemed nice. However, much like her father, I doubt being on her bad side would be a very pleasant experience.

This is true. She’s nice, but don’t piss her off. Seen it and heard about it first hand. If you watch Duke games, she relishes the role of being the bad guy. I’ve been at Duke road games, ACC tournament games and NCAA tournament games, the crowd will boo K, Mickie will sit there and be pretty stoic, Debbie will stand up cheer really hard and pretty much ask the crowd to bring it.

Duke gifted another win yesterday. The amount of physicality they were allowed to play with is amazing....but don't go near Banchero or a whistle is blown.

Anyone that knows anything about basketball that watched the game could see how much better of a team Duke was than Arkansas. It was a 9 point win and it wasn’t even that close.

Anyone who knows anything about basketball knows that Duke is notorious for getting favorable calls, especially in the tourney. Even the committee themselves gifted them a #2 seed when every sports pundit in America thought it was a farce.

Duke is a solid team, better than Arkansas. But it would've been nice to let the teams fight it out themselves.
