Hat's thoughts on incoming class

Personally, I think Josh Selby lacks the talent to compete in a conference like the SEC. He has no jump shot and is a shoddy defender. Total waste of scholarship in my opinion.

I see what you did there. Clever and hilarious in one package. Keep 'em coming.

This class is the one that leads us to our first Final Four. Been saying it all season and I am still saying it. Wish I had been wrong though. :(

I'll say this. Selby makes us a legitamate FF contender.

Link? I remember him saying he should go to a C-USA school. That's division 1.

You got me there bud, sorry for overembellishing the facts so I could prove my point. He also said though, that any JUCO player (not D-1) was more deserving of an UT scholarship than JP Prince.

Passley and Jurick? Were there some that thought those guys would be studs?

Granted I think some, including myself, were surprised at how big of a bust Johnson was. But did anyone think Passley would be a star? And Jurick, it was pretty clear to anyone that watched him play that he was a project at best.

Unless they won some sort of secret lottery, somebody gave them SEC scholarships. Nobody said they were going to stars. However, some of us did call them the dreck they were. Neither one of them ever had any business on scholarship above a Horizon/SoCo level.

Brian Williams is a pretty good example of a project player. Hopefully his dominant presence will continue without Chism sharing the paint.

I don't recall them getting much praise from many here, but if they did it was certainly wishful thinking.

I'm anxious to see what he can do next year. Tennessee will be counting on him to produce inside.
