Ive never cried over a loss as a fan.

I do tear up everytime I hear the national anthem in Neyland Stadium and think about how great the country I live in is.

I also balled my eyes out after my last football game in high school, but I consider that totally different.

Which one? I assume '01 and not as much '07.

I was at the LSU game in 2010 and I could do nothing but facepalm and cuss Dooley. LSU fans were super nice and very pissed at Les for it being that close. Neither set of fans leaving that game were very happy with their coach.

I videoed the two "last plays"....Vols winning and Tigers winning and fans reactions. Both are on YouTube. Quickest I have gone from elated to....well, not elated at a game. UGA's hobnail boot game is a close second.

Like most, I have almost become numb to losses now. It's sad.

I too was at that game, and disgusted as I was, I was determined to march out of there with head held high. LSU fans were like, "damn! that game was too close ... we'll trade coaches with you." That's what they were saying at the time.

i've never cried, but there have been a few games that were extremely disturbing to me.

5) 01' uga when stephens took the screen pass to the house and we followed it up with the effing squib kick. Oh that effing squib kick!!!!!! Uga won.

4) 08' uf....we couldn't hand the ball off, literally. The emotion swing was odd, from furious to somewhat sad. Sad because i literally knew at that moment fulmer was probably done. The boos were nearly, if not equal to those of the gaffney catch. The decibel level from boos was literally deafining.

3) the gaffney catch. I'm not sure i've even gotta say much more. Loudest boos i've ever heard.

2) 10' lsu the emotional swing was enough to bring a grown man to his knees. From "we won" to....well you know the rest.

1b) 09' bama...holly hell that was gutwrenching. Nuff said

1a) i can't remember the year, i just remember bama blocking a fg and it flew all the way to the other end, leaving them in fg range. The other games were due to bad ref calls or bad coaching calls. But this was the most dispicable thing i think i've ever seen. If you tried this 1,000 times it wouldn't happen because it's literally impossible! Yet it happened for bama. Blocked kick flies all the way down field. They recover it, kick the fg. I was a kid, didn't cry but came close.

I'm about to cry now. Based off of the dates and comments given by a lot of you, I'm realizing just exactly how young some of you really are. Or more to the point I guess......how old I'm getting.

Excuse me......I think I got some dust in my eye. :cray:

Never cried, never through a fit, honestly I am not the one playing, so it just didn't register for me to act like a 2 year old. Did I feel bad for the players and coaches? Yup, but that's about it.

No but the entire neighborhood heard me yelling and screaming after the 2011 LSU game. No tears but lots of beers.

Never cried after a loss but the 1990 bama game left me emotionally spent.

The 2001 UGA game just pissed me off. The squib kick.

Can't remember why nowadays, but Greg Burke used to piss me off as well.

No Cry, just yelling and throwing a fit, followed by being pissed off for a week or so.

Cried over my first girlfriend when I was 16. Swore I never would over a girl or a game or anything like that again. Crying like a man is meant for something real. Since then I've cried once.

But I've broken a whole lot of things.

Being a Vol fan for over 40 years I can honestly say a loss has never brought me to tears. Has a TN loss ever brought you to tears like it did this GA fan? Georgia fan cries on the radio after loss to Clemson | For The Win

To be honest, when I learned about the extent of Inky Johnson's injury, I cried over that loss.

But to cry over a loss like that dimwit? And then to call into a radio talk show like that? If I ever do something like that, someone kick the ever loving crap outta me. HARD.

Edit: OH I almost forgot. I cried when Dooley got fired. Don't guess tears of joy counts, though.

Yes thank you! I was 13. That was a disturbing moment. I remember watching it at my uncle's down in Talbott...he didn't take it so well. I mean dude started crushing the beers. I even slipped a few in myself :). I just know that was the most dispicable, weird, pathetic way to lose a game. And it was to Bama.....the luckiest team in the history of....EVER.

I've never cried after a loss, but apparently I raked all the leaves up in my yard after the Kentucky loss.....and don't remember doing it. I reckon I had a few too many while watching. :)

Cried? No.

Kicked a bucket of light bulbs? Yes. I'm the reason that "That Lighting Store Without A Name" went out of business.

If you waste lightbulbs it seems like that would help a lighting store buisiness. You gotta keep going back for more light bulbs to kick each game :/
