I have gone mute for hours, sworn off football, gone on a walkabout, broken a few things, and said some things I later regretted...but never cried. At the end of the day, it IS still just a game.
The 05 bama game when Arian foster fumbled through the endzone... Broke my heart. I was 13 lol teared up pretty good
I'll never forget Jason Allen going down against UGA. Also, last year sitting 10 rows up from the Marcus Lattimore injury and seeing him sobbing as he was carted off. Just awful.Actually, Cory Anderson fumbled that ball. Not sure if it was his only carry of the game. Riggs Jr was running hard all day, blowing people up, finishing his runs. Vols deserved to win that day, esp with that defense. Most upset I've ever been after a game. They WANTED that game.
Never cried after a loss, but as former member of the training staff, saw my share of injuries (Hayden's leg fracture, Henry's neck injury, Little and Lewis ACL injury, Inky) and one i ll always remember, Kevin Mays freak accident while training for the NFL draft ESP w their family involved was tough to watch.
I have, but technically it was after a win. Right after the NC game vs. FSU, because I knew it would be the last time we would hear John Ward call a UT game. Still kinda chokes me up a little talking about it.
(yes, guys, I'm joking)
i did actually,the '90 'Bama game
