Have you ever switched teams?

The only exception I make is if Nashville got an MLB team, I wouldn't switch from the Cubs. I'd root for Nashville as my second team, but head to head I'd be for the Cubs.

Were you a Colts fan before PM arrived?

Yes - they were the AFC team that was always televised since Indy is close Illinois - when PM retires I might go back to them, but I despise the owner for the way he treated PM. As a kid I was a St Louis Football Cardinals fan but lost intrest when they moved

I grew up in Knoxville and moved out of state before the Titans arrived, I wonder if i would have felt differently about them if I still lived in the state. Are there lifelong Tennessee residents that don't pull for the Titans?

All my Dad's family is Cowboys fans and I was when I was a kid, but I didn't really care about NFL until Manning got drafted. I'm kind of a Cowboys fan, but I don't really claim it, so that's kind of a switch. I'm a sucker for local teams and I've lived in a lot of different places, so there are a lot of teams I casually follow.

I'm kind of fed up with the Jazz and I don't ever get to see their games on TV, so it's hard not to switch loyalties. I wonder how long I'll hang on.

Have been a Niners and SF Giants fan my whole life. Was a Pistons fan till GP became a Sonic, followed them to OKC. But if Seattle ever gets a basketball team again, I'll drop the Thunder in a heartbeat. I've always been a fan of west coast teams, and semi fan of Detroit teams. No idea why.

I have met a few people that don't even cheer for a team anymore, they are so into Fantasy Football that they only care about the players on their FF team.

No Warriors?

Big fan back in the Run TMC days, still a mild fan big Steph and Iggy fan. Outside of my favorite teams I mainly enjoy certain players, and they are usually PGs. Zona is my second favorite college basketball team, cause they used to always have great PGs back in the Lute Olson days.

That must have sucked, I can't imagine my favorite team moving. How do you feel about the team that moved today?

Since moving they've won a championship but generally been mediocre at best, attendance problems, etc. It's been long enough that there's no more animosity, but the way the relocation was pushed through is still something that pisses me off

I'd say many people that grew up in the 80's and earlier don't pull for the Titans. We knew them as the Oilers. With no team in TN, we made the Cowboys, Steelers, Falcons, or some other team the ones to follow. I wasn't going to drop the Steelers after 20+ years of being a fan just because the Oilers moved to Tennessee.

In the NFL I very jumped around a bunch. When I first got interested a buddy of mine was a big Dolphins fan so I followed when Marino was there. Pretty much stuck with them until the Titans got good in 1999 when I hitched my horse to that wagon. Then they annoyed with the way they treated McNair and George, even if they were past their prime. After that I started rooting more for the Colts due to Manning and of course followed him to the Broncos.

When Manning retires I will probably root for the Packers since my in laws and brother-in-law on my side are big fans.

The reality is I'm not, and probably never will be, as endeared to any NFL team like I am the Vols. It's fun to watch but the way players move around its more like rooting for laundry.

I think this is how I would have felt too if i hadn't moved out of state.

I liked players when I was younger and only really true cheered one pro team in the Braves. In 2010 when I got older I thought it's be cool to adopt the Detroit teams with all my family ties to Michigan and my dad being a fan of all the Detroit teams. I haven't looked back since.

Switched from the Cowboys to Oilers/ Titans. I'm pro anything Tennessee

I did the exact same thing. Grew up in Nashville before the Titans came. I was a Cowboys fan because I had a bunch of family in Texas who were diehard Cowboys fans that we always visited for Thanksgiving. Once the Titans moved I followed both for a bit, but I really hated TO. Pretty soon I made a full switch.
