Have you ever switched teams?

No, and I can never understand how people do it. Once I'm locked it on a team, its over. May have something to do with all my teams being basically home state teams but still.

Yankee Vol posted this article in the Redskin's Thread and it got me to thinking.... NFL team's a loser? Move on fans -- Tuesday Morning Quarterback - ESPN

Has anyone ever been fed up with their favorite team and switched to a new team?

When I was 8 I went to my first MLB game. I was an A's fan for no good reason and I got to see them vs my new hometown team, the Orioles (I lived in Arlington, VA). Jose Canseco was my hero and watching him go 0 for 4 (4 KOs, IIRC) and hating rooting against the home team had me switching my allegiance during the game. The A's won and I was mad.

Saw them both play in the minors for the Huntsville Stars

I was a Yankees fan until Roger Clemens threw a bat at Mike Piazza and the thing he said was he thought it was the ball and the Yankees org. defended his behavior. Clemens is a dirtbag for so many other reasons but that's my reason.

As a Yankees fan, there's many players I haven't liked (or wanted them to get)*. Gotta take the good with the bad.
