I don't see how Hunter is the favorite. Outstanding player but c'mon, the stats aren't impressive at all especially considering the talent he's facing. Jeanty should be in the lead by a large margin followed by Sampson who is doing it against SEC defenses.

I firmly believe Sampson would be the favorite rn if he played for Alabama, Ohio St, or Notre Dame.

Dylan fumbles too much to win the Heisman. Roast if you want but if he wasn’t a Tennessee player you’d agree.

We all know why Hunter is the favorite. It’s the Charles Woodson all over again. ESPN lives Deion. They fawn over him, Sheduer and Hunter. Rex Ryan was talking like Sanders was the best coach in college football. It’s pathetic.

Hunter is a great talent. But he isn’t the best WR or the best DB. He is getting this push because of who his coach is.

In some ways, Hunter is a gimmick. So is Sanders and Colorado in general, but I digress.

Hunter certainly isn't the best WR or the best DB. That is true.

But he's certainly among the best at both positions. And he's playing about double the amount of snaps as anyone else. There is easily an argument to be made that a player who is affecting the game at high level on both sides of the ball is the most valuable player on the field.

Sort of like Ohtani in baseball. In 2021, he wasn't the best hitter in baseball. Nor was he the best pitcher in baseball. But his combined performances certainly made him the best player in baseball, and he won the MVP unanimously.

My say? I've ignored this prize since 98. Why should I worry about it now? The winner has probably already been chosen. It's not based on performance. It's based on popularity. Waste of time!

Everyone please do this every single day.

Also get everyone you know to also do this and to spread it around to everyone they know too.

We, the power of the people, CAN get this done for him if we all work at it seriously!!!

VFL...GBO!!!

I don't expect Sampson to win and he isn't necessarily the best candidate, but he's certainly better than Beck and Milroe, who have driven their teams to avoidable losses. I'm voting for him because it's ridiculous that he's not one of the default choices.
