i was actually coming to post that i'm freezing up on ads.pubmatic.com but I see i'm like the fifth in line to do so.

Thanks Bill. I'm experiencing the same thing and I've received a bunch of private messages. The issue definitely seems to be related to the pubmatic ads and I'm looking into a resolution as we speak. I'll keep everyone posted and thanks for your feedback and patience.

I think this should be fixed once and for all. Please let me know if you see that the pages now load faster....it should be quite noticeable.

i'm not having any problems now, but it is after midnight on the east coast, so I'll post again tomorrow during a busier time as well.

really slow right now. took me 3 minutes and 37 seconds to load this page. It was connecting to oascentral.sportswar.com for most of the time.

vkb, which skin does it say you are using in the dropdown in the bottom left of the page. That's really not possible with the new setup. The ads load completely independent of the page. Post back or send me a pm.

Cool. I just saw that in action. I was on this page for about 10 seconds before the ads showed up. :)

We are all good. It was my connection. This was the first website I went to and it was really slow but it was the same on a lot of different websites too. My bad. I meant to come back and post that but forgot about it.

freak, i wasnt sure where to put this but here it goes...

i was in the endzone and trying to go back to the pub page. when i clicked on the pub a pop up hit the middle of my screen and said that my computer was running slow and i needed to start an anti-virus. i clicked cancel and it took me to a pop up page. just wanted to let you know.

It got me too once. Very aggravating and completely unacceptable. I'm looking into it now. If anyone has any info as to which ad is causing this that would be helpful. I apologize once again for the issues.

It just happened to me. Clicked on the baseball forum and it took me to another page with antivirus stuff on it and the pop up showed up. I clicked the x on it and it took me back here.

Add me to the list also...It popped up and I went ahead and clicked on it and it is a Vista Antivirus program.

Happened to me about 6 times today. Also, I was wondering if the no ads skin is the only one we have now... :dunno:
