First of all Pete was the coach, not a d coord. Second, no team of hawaii's caliber put up anywhere near that many points on usc in the last 3 years. I'm not sure what you are so smug about..cal threw a whopping 3 points on them last year. To answer your question, no, pete carroll is a lying cheater who skipped town when it came time to face the music.

of course he was the d coordinator. and hawaii was 3rd int eh county in passing last year. much better than oregon state or stanford who lit SC up. not sure how cal is relavant to this conversation.

Last night was on the Kiffins. Lane for deciding not to tackle in practice and Monte for continuing to show his prowess against the spread. O gets some credit for the penalties that amounted to 100 yards for HI. If they actually had a tough schedule this year this team would implode. As their schedule stands they will still have a decent year.

Passing ranking is strictly yards rankings..anybody is going to look good passing on paper when you play in the wac. they put up 6 points on louisiana tech last year...wow, how prolific. let me get this straight...you think hawaii has a better offense that oregon state or stanford?? usc played cal last year...we are talking about usc's defense last year and you don't see how cal is "relavant" to the conversation. :drool: Lay off the reefer out there man...just because a doctor prescribes it doesn't mean it's a good idea!

when you say SCs d sucked were you talking about anything but pass yards allowed? and lets not forget that hawaii sucks huge time on the road. and no they don't have a better OFFENSE than oregon or the furd they have a better PASSING GAME. and yes sc played cal, but cal sucked through hte air. hawaii was a FAR better passing team. and btw i'd be willing to bet that your town has a higher MJ usage than my town. not a lot to do in the middle of nowhere except get high and drunk.

??so, now you are saying that usc's passing defense sucks and it is the fault of the talent not the d-coord even though they have had top ten recruiting classes the last 4 years?? :blink: AND that nobody in la smokes pot because there is "stuff" to do. sure thing chief :salute:

SC didn't have one returning starter in the secondary. talent means squat without experience. if they suck this bad in week 7 than maybe you have a point. and plenty of people in LA smoke pot, just not as much as you do when you live in the middle of nowhere.

Droski here is what to look for, their offense will be great. Our offense took off with Kiffin compared to the year before the defense will suck unless they play a pro style offense like a GA. Their defense will cost them. AU, Ohio, Ole Miss tore us a new one but disclaimer for Ole Miss is that is was right after the armed robbery fiasco which distracted us but not worth like 200 yards for a RB.

How many did GA give up to them when they had were setting offensive records left and right?

Anyone know what the GoF said before and after the game? There is a distinct chance the GoF did not venture back on to the thread after a classic GoF "moral loss."

Ohio in no way "tore us a new one", especially on defense. Take away a Crompton INT and they don't touch the endzone.
