Heard OUT vs OU per sources

It’s a gigantic loss. Dayne struggled in the bowl game against Iowa at offensive tackle and the OU DL is a lot better than Iowa’s was. I fail to see how this isn’t a big loss that’s our most important position on the OL

You think losing your OL that protects your QBs blindside isn’t major? I’d argue the only player on offense that would hurt more is Nico
Yep. So we’re down to four offensive lineman to start and finish the game. That ain’t how it works. Of course, I didn’t bet on the game which makes it a little easier to expect the next man to step up and execute. There is also the fact that this is a “Thamel sauced” sound bite.

I agree...but...
AP & Hubbs have some 'SPLAININ' to do as LAST WEEK they BOTH said he'd "be ready to go against Kent State, but sitting out to insure he's ready for Oklahoma..."
Sometimes things change and unexpected setbacks happen with injuries.

Are you patting yourself on the back Dr. Seuss?
Cute
I said I wanted to be wrong.
But typical of most people here that don’t want to hear the truth.
Heupel lies about injuries. As most coaches do.
He lied about Heard being available for Kent. He was not.
I only want UT to win.
I could care less about being correct on a dumb arse message board.
This hurts us Saturday.
Probably means less time for Nico to throw deep balls. Prob more running and TE targets.
I still think we win but I don’t see a blowout.Go Vols!
Get well, Lance.

Coming down hard on the coach there,
Why do you think we are where we are right now?

Last year was it Dayne Davis and Ollie Lane that were the worst at giving up sacks, have false starts and holding calls more than anybody?

I love Heupel.
And I don’t think he should have to disclose injuries.
All coaches lie about that.
He SHOULD be able to do that.
The new SEC disclosure rule is due to the gambling cabal getting what they want and the college game becoming more like the NFL.
I love Heupel. Did you hear me?

Their all SEC guy against Davis (if that’s how it ends up) = false starts / Davis getting whipped a lot / closing down of parts of the playbook.

Coaches will have to work around it for sure.
