Who ya got? I've narrowed it down to 3. Luck and Richardson are done playing. RG III has one more game. He destroys Luck in every category (yards, TD's, INT's, YPA) so unless he tanks against Texas, he's my guy:

RGIII = 4290 yards (612 rushing), 41 TD's (7 rushing), 5 INT's, 72.6%, and 10.6 YPA

Richardson = 1910 yards (327 receiving), 23 TD's (3 receiving), and 6.0 YPC

Luck = 3323 yards (153 rushing), 37 TD's (2 rushing), 9 INT's, 70.0%, and 8.5 YPA

I'll be shocked if Luck wins. He was slightly better last year, and his team had the same record.

I wonder what happened to the guy who started the thread about whether or not Richardson is a legit Heisman candidate.

I think Luck should win it, though Richardson will.

With Griffin, he has incredible stats, but I remember watching the end of the KState and A&M games, and he made some very critical mistakes at the end of those to lose.

Luck's only loss was to Oregon, he had two picks. One of them was a bad read in the first half, but the other was a short throw where he hit the receiver right in the numbers, and he tipped it up to a defender. That game made it pretty apparent that with Stanford's injuries, they were a great quarterback and a bunch of mediocre players. Missed tackles everywhere on defense, and Oregon was getting sacks on three step drops with four and five guys which is just ridiculous.

Richardson and it's not even close.

I disagree, Richardson may deserve it, but he was padding stats against bad opponents, which disqualifies him from being a runaway winner.

Georgia Southern (179 yards, 3 TD's), North Texas (163 yards, 3 TD's), Ole Miss (213 yards, 4 TD's). He only had 1355 yards and 13 TD's over the remaining 9 games.

This is the antithesis of Mark Ingram who sat a lot against cupcakes, and had enormous games against the best opponents. Not that Richardson didn't play well in big games.

To me that game proved how important luck is to that team. Also I know rg3 is beating him in all the major categories but the fact that he's put up the numbers he has with his 2 or 3 best options being tight ends is ridiculous.

Matthieu seriously is so close to being in the conversation. Nobody made bigger plays than him, and he made game changing plays in the biggest games (Oregon, WVU, Arkansas). If he were playing for #1 Michigan, he'd be a shoe-in.

I think he would be a serious contender had he not been suspended for a game for the off field stuff.

I'd like to see RGIII win it.

The only reason I'd like to see RGIII win it is to shake up the trend of giving the Heisman to players on BCS-caliber teams.

But I think the KState and A&M games are going to weigh heavily on voters minds if they watched them. RGIII definitely shrunk a bit in those instances, while Luck was absolutely money in the 3OT USC game.
