I think TCU had nowhere remotely close to the second best defense in the country. When have I used state to prop any defense. I go by what I see. OU has no D. UF has D.
I know you're trying hard to convince yourself that OU played a tough schedule and that the O Is as good as it looked against HS defenses, nobody who understands football is buying it. That's why Uf is favored over a team that scored 60 per night.
how'd that work out against TX's sorry defense?BigPapaVol I promise you you will be shocked at the D as well as the O OU puts on the field that night. Being a big football man you shouldn't but you will. Florida had it's hands full covering Julio Jones of Alabama and I assure you we have about 5 they will have just as much trouble covering.:rock:

That's why Tech beat them and Bradford threw 5 TDs.Well BigPapaVol I know you are a big stats man so I'll invite you to check them out. Sam had somewhat of an off game and still threw 5 touchdowns and had almost 400 yards. Ryan Renolds our linebacker doesn't have a season ending injury that game changes quite a bit.
Keep in mind Texas might have a much better defense than you are willing to admit.:rock::rock:

Bottom line is that OU played one even remotely decent defense all season and had their asses handed to them. That would concern me if I were you. I can see that you have homerism down to a science and it probably won't bother you, but you might think it through a bit before you tunnel back into your bliss.
who am I a homer for? Just because I can objectively, as a third party, tell you that the offenses of the Big 12 are almost purely a function of the sorry defenses I'm a homer.Tech beat Texas with their #4 in the country offense. About 25 spots higher ranked than any SEC offense.:rock:
Please be careful with the homer comments for they fit you very well.
I hate UGA with a passion, but they would have murdered the Big 12. The level of talent across the board is simply higher than that in the big 12. There is almost no defensive talent in the entire conference.LMAO....now come on and be serious. Georgia would have been fighting it out for 4th or 5th in the Big 12 south. Dear Gawd and you called me a homer.

by the by, I'm for OU in the football game if that helps you understand a bit better where I'm coming from.
you be careful with the smileys, for they fit your communication style well.
you cannot pretend there isn't offensive talent in the SEC. The QB's sucked and that was a problem, but there is more offensive talent at UGA and UF than Tech or Texas even considered having. It's not really very close. Texas did what they did with no ability to run the football at all. You haul that kind of game up against a decent defense and it gets murdered. One dimensional teams get killed.Oh come onnnnnnnnnn. You say the defensives numbers in the SEC has nothing to do with the poor offenses in the SEC but the GREAT Big 12 numbers are all results of no defence in the Big 12. You can't have it both ways.
All I am trying to do with these icons my man is to get you rocking here with me.:rock::rock:

I listen to no talk radio whatsoever. Never. None. Nada. Zilch.OMG you have just been SEC brainwashed. I'm thinking you listen to far to many talk radio shows in this area. Great athletes are all over the country in every conference.
Come on BigpapaVol.......I have to say that comment really makes me question you watch football. Please tell me you were joking and left out the smiley....I really want to be able to respect your opinion but that is reallly setting you back.:no:

again, which of those RBs, QBs and WRs are going to play at the next level? There isn't a 1st round QB in the conference. Crabtree, Bryant and Maclin will the top players from the conference and they average about 5-8 touches per game each.OMG....most the best running backs are in the Big 12.
All most all the great receivers as well. Most of the great quarterbacks....same story.....but yet in your opinion we have nothing?inch:inch:
I have to go for a bit my friend....please call in Nurse Rachet and get your meds from her....and spend some alone time with your favorite coloring book and I'll be back to help you later. I promise as your new friend not to give up on you.:rock:
