Heisman vs Health

Hooker has to look good vs KY and Georgia. Tennessee can only take 1 loss if any.

If those 3 things happen Hooker wins. He’s already had a heisman “moment” with the Bama game.
It’s historically very hard to hang your hat on a “Heisman moment” that takes place in mid-October. Not impossible, but very challenging, especially if the other guys in the race finish the season with a big rivalry game in which they have a moment.

This is a good problem to have. I've begun to worry about Hooker's health but the o-line has done a good job and it appeared he ran less against bama, have not looked at the numbers thou. Heupel was once in the running for Heisman, I trust him more than anyone with this dilemma of play safe or pad stats.

No doubt

That’s why Hooker “has” to look good vs KY and Georgia.

If Hooker has great games vs Georgia & Bama……..and looked good vs ranked Pitt, Florida, LSU and KY………he will win.

Not too many folks get legit Heisman opportunities vs the #1&3 teams……..combined with great stats vs 4 other ranked teams.

Just got to keep doing what he does…….his stats are just fine, he’s had his “moment”……could get more………just can’t look ordinary or bad vs KY and Georgia.
