Hell on Wheels

What a scam! Understood it with Breaking Bad and even Mad Men, but this show has a smaller core cult fanbase...we should be able to enjoy it in one run!

No show that I can think of airs in one run anymore even on the main networks.

All shows usually take a hiatus following November sweeps in late November through mid-January and then take another one in late February/early March and then come back in mid-April and finish out there seasons usually by the first or second week of May.

That's not what AMC has been doing though with their shows in their last season; they've waited an entire year to air the remaining half of the season. What AMC has been doing is milking 2 seasons out of one season's worth of episodes.

Most shows that last this long are big enough ratings wise to warrant the buildup. This is a great show that hasn't caught on mainstream. Kudos to AMC for generally continuing to stick with cult shows until they're spent out, but 7 one year then 7 the next for this non-Breaking Bad? Needless buildup ratings wise and a slap to fans like me.

Amen!..."Milking"...and not enough to fill a school carton.

Well, Mr. Bohannon needs to start shooting people, starting with his mother in law after he raps her in the teeth a few times with his revolver.

The appeal of his character was someone that was bone mean on a mission of death dealing with maybe a vestigial bit of a moral compass. Now there is too much moral compass and a complete lack of bone mean.

Great start to the new season! Evil Chinese Mafia character? Six more episodes of greatness, then they make us wait another year. :pinch:

Kind of curious as to how they wrap this up in 7 episodes, or specifically what exactly gets wrapped up.

Don't RIP Swede, the Norwegian. Understand that war was unnecessarily cruel to you…no excuse for being a monster. And Bohannon? Learn to hang em like you did your brother-in-law…bastaj almost got away…again.

I think they should have driven a stake through the Swede's heart just before they decapitated the corpse.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Mr. Bohannon came alive in the last episode. Great to see him shoot first with no pre or post palaver!

I'm almost caught up, a few episodes into season 5, love the show.

I'm glad they pulled the switcheroo with the actresses for Naomi, with the original one there was a creepy feeling that Chris Hansen was going to walk out from a back room with a camera crew.
