So you're okay with cheating if it meets a team need, provided a coach doesn't cheat to get too many of the good players. Gotta leave some for other coaches to pay for. That's the way you think this should play out?
Roy Munson's "hobnail boot" call, is all you need. That and they have the worst fan base in the SEC. YouTube the hobnail boot call and you'll have plenty of disdain for them.
Only one team in Tennessee and it sure ain’t the Houston oilers!!Maybe this will help. Ga and Titans fans are the most obnoxious ones without the winning that accompanies their talk. There were Ga fans bragging about getting a recruit away from Bama right after Bama had mopped them up on the field, with comments like “recruiting is much more important than the game”. Titans say things like, “you can’t talk about winning a SB unless it is current,” yet they have never won even 1. I put these 2 fanbases in the same category and am ecstatic when they lose. I will say they have replaced Bama on top for me. I hope Kirby gets so riled up he pulls a Stoops.
You can't refer to it as both breaking the rules AND fair play. Seems odd you'd accept cheating then be bothered or surprised that teams don't cheat fairly (I guess). Cheating creates an unfair advantage, which you seem to be fine with, provided your team isn't disadvantaged. You’re arguing just to argue, you know the point I’m making:
- A five star LB is choosing between 3 schools. All 3 desperately need him. They are all probably going to do a little something to tip the scales, even if it’s breaking the rules = fair play. Not a good thing, but is what it is.
- Bama’s parking lot during a practice is full of cars most of us will never be able to afford, even working full time jobs = not fair play, disrespectful to the game of football.
Is that true they want to do that?
