Hendon Hooker #68 to the Lions

Alright. All you zombie Houston Oilers fans can go burn your titans gear now. Levis. Your team is infected. Uhhh.

And it’s ok, your Dad’s Falcons/Cowboys/Steelers gear is still in that trunk in the attic- go put that back on. :)

I will NEVER root for those 3 teams! EVER! Probably the 3 teams I hate the most in the NFL.

Vrabel is gonna run If you keep doing this…

The Titans are probably trying to get more KY fans in the stands. I'd much rather see them get Hendon Hooker, but he probably has a better chance of starting sooner in Detroit.
It was a dumb move on their part. They traded a gigantic loyal fanbase for a risky project backed by a basketball school. 🙃

Admittedly, I know very little about Detroit, other than that they managed to have one of the best RBs in history yet never win anything. Someone tell me about Hooker's potential there.
Twice. Billy Sims, And don't forget MegaTron.

Great situation for him, honestly. Goff played better than expected last year but he is a rollercoaster. That gives Hooker time to get healthy and learn in the wings. Hooker could inherit a talented offense.

Things to know about Detroit -

Coneys - Greek immigrants who first found employment on Coney Island moved to Detroit and began operating hot dog carts, dressing up the hot dogs with Greek meat sauce. The success of these ventures led to brick & mortar restaurants featuring their spin on the hot dog. Locals took to calling them “coneys.” Today, the classic coney has a stripe of yellow mustard, diced onions, and Greek meat sauce (it’s not really chili). With cheese should be shredded cheese on top, not cheese whiz.

The Great Recession hit the Motor City hard. The diaspora accelerated. Swaths of property were abandoned. At one time, you could acquire entire city blocks for the delinquent taxes. Young people priced out of close-in neighborhoods in other cities moved into parts of Detroit. A revival of sorts took root. Detroit is remaking itself as a smaller city.

Beginning in the Great Recession, a cycling mob would form and ride en mass through the city streets. This impromptu event grew by word of mouth and continued into the pandemic.

To the north and west, Detroit is ringed by incorporated exurbs. One of the towns is confined to one square mile.

Certain roadways are referred to by their distance from Detroit city center. Eight Mile preceded the movie of the same name.

Happy for all VFLs. But seriously the Lions, Giants & Browns got 2nd round value in the 3rd round. And thanks for the memories, beating Bama, LSU and Florida all in one year very SWEET! Images of the our fans rushing the field and the celebration after beating Bama is imprinted on my brain forever.

Kiper did his best to discredit his accomplishments. Jack(donkey).

Kiper was a great player and his College career at Essex Community College and the NFL and a longtime scout coach and most knowledge of anyone in and around the NFL ever. Just to be on Kipers best on the Board is insurmountable. Don't ever discredit anyone that donned the Nerdy Essex Community college T Shirt for the Math club.

I won't buy any Lions gear until HH starts. If/when HH starts, I will become a Lions fan.

For now, I don't have a NFL team. If Dobbs gets a start somewhere, that will be it.

Yeah its kind of a graveyard for players. They've won 4 NFL championships 1935,1952,1953 & 1957. Barry Sanders made them watchable in the 90s but they've made very few playoffs in their history. Almost an after thought team.
