Hendon Hooker to the Titans?

Deebo going into age 30 season with a fairly rough contract....

Hooker has 2 years of super cheap control.
I get what you're saying, but is 2 years of super cheap control worth more than a 4th round pick?

I get it too, your going to have that team that will give up a 4th or 5th to see if Hooker can be that guy or at least a serviceable QB2.

Mostly speculation, but I think this would be a good match for both the Titans and Hendon Hooker.

Anyone with a lick of sense could see Levis would be a bust. Media hyped him up too much and the Titans probably thought they could get more KY fans by hiring Levis. He's a terrible QB and they should have known it. Would love to see Hooker at Tennessee Titans.

For HH's sake I really really hope Detroit lets him go as a 5th or 6th round trade swap. One thing is for almost sure.....the Lions have zero interest in keeping him any longer. At best he would be practice squad material (not sure of the rules on that). He has seemed solid in the limited time we have seen him in. preseason and. very little mop-up duty. These days, franchises are reluctant to pull a starting qb due to performance criteria equalling more pay. So the backup qbs get almost no significant time. Not sure what Lions have seen in practice to fall out of love with him but it seems obvious they will get rid of him. The sad truth in NFL is even potential great players MUST get to the "right" opportunity to flourish in many cases. Lord, I want him to get legit shot somewhere. I probably love me some Hendon more than just about any. other recent Vol. Perhaps he can't cut it......but I'd sure like to see if he can.

They signed TB to be the #2 ahead of him and he coached HS football all season. TItans would be better off sticking with Rudolph than getting Hooker.

A win/win for both sides if Hooker ends up elsewhere. Titans have shown zero interest in currying favor with VOLS, so I would hate to see HH take a step back and end up there. Getting on the field earlier is not always a good thing for your health or career.

Not sure why Titans would care about getting KY fans. They need to be trying to get VOLS fans. They travel, root and support. If they had drafted Hooker they would’ve had more fans show up or watch their games. Look how many VOLS fans watched the few games that Dobbs played in.

No NFL team should care about this
Titans need all the help they can get viewer and attendance wise.
Was listening to espn and they were discussing banning the tush push Philly does. One guy said it was boring football the other host said if we’re talking about boring football let’s ban the Titans

That garbage franchise deserves Will Levis. They had the chance to draft Hooker and passed on him for the worst starter in the NFL.
You’re free to have your own opinions. However, despite your obvious disdain for the Titans, a large fraction of Tennessee Titans fans are also Vols fans. So, this topic is one that many Vol fans are probably, at the very least, interested in discussing. Their owner, Amy Adams Strunk, has only been in the ownership role for 10 years. For the most part, she has allowed the two previous GMs full range of football operations and personnel decision making. She very rarely involves herself in football operations and personnel decision making, which is what you should want in an owner. I am optimistic about the Titans most recent GM hire, Mike Borgonzi. And I still like our current head coach, Brian Callahan and his staff. To me, this is what makes the idea of acquiring Hooker in a trade fascinating. I personally think Callahan’s offense could be an ideal fit for Hooker. And how awesome would it be to have one of our own Vol legends resurrect this franchise and lead them to its first Super Bowl?!

No NFL team should care about this

Likewise, no college fanbase should care about a pro franchise just because they share some borders. But they can hope for GOOD things for favorite alumni that does not include them. Hate not needed, indifference is fair for both sides. If your heart is a Titan go for it. Room for all of us but don’t believe in dual fanship,

They really aren't the home state Franchise. Just a bad Oilers Franchise. Much much prefer they started their own franchise instead of an old $hit franchise that moved in. Exactly why I've never been a Titans fan. Hooker desers better than that $hit show.
The Chiefs moved from Dallas. The Braves moved from Milwaukee and Boston. The Lakers moved from Minnesota.

That’s a tired and empty argument.

The Titans played in the AFCCG 5 years ago and had the best record in football 3 years ago. But sure, they’ll “always suck.”

The people who drafted Levis are gone.

The Titans somehow moving the #1 pick while landing Hooker as QB and thinking they have improved the QB room is so Titans brand it hurts.....

When they drafted Levis I pretty much just zoned out on the Titans.

The AJ Brown trade reaction from Vrabel is what started it for me.... Then Ran being hired when he had no business being in the GM chair is what ended it for me.

Amy literally torched all the goodwill she bought over 5 years in one calendar year

Not sure there is a good fit at QB there at this time. Levi’s may have the best body type right now, not sure I think there is a worthy #1 at QB THIS YEAR. Not all bests at position are created equal year to year. I would consider a blockbuster trade out if one is out there and get picks to fix more spots and QB shop later. Using the pick and getting him broken is not a good plan. The top 2 are athletic but don’t have a clue on durability. If somebody else LUVS THEM and will pay up I would consider it.

This from a non fan of any specific team. 95% of NFL viewing is Redzone. Some Sunday and Monday viewing.? I don’t have enough fandom left being all in on VOLS, All of them.

Granted I am not a fan

Yup, the Titans have been more recently than 11/15 of the other AFC teams (everyone but KC, Buffalo, Baltimore, Cincinnati I'm pretty sure)
The Titans go from being a contender to one one of the worst teams in the league as fast as anyone can. They've had some fairly quick significant drops a couple of times the last couple of decades. Easy to do in this league with piss poor management
