Folks, the worst part of this game was this defense! It doesn't matter if it is 3rd & 35 ANY team can convert on this squad! What is with Heupel kicking these FG's when we are down by 4 TD's?
It's hard to say, but roll the dice with the kid. See what he can do. I for one am thankful Joe has to leave this winter.I mean I’m not going to argue against that. Passing Offense has sucked this year by and large. What game are you thinking we win with Nico? Florida was early, I doubt he was ready, Oline was trash.
…and Georgias multiple top 5 recruiting classes make Kirby Jackwagon look better than he is.Title says it all, floor is open for debate
UF, and Mizzu entered the chat…and Georgias multiple top 5 recruiting classes make Kirby Jackwagon look better than he is.
Those same high caliber classes made Chester Bennett VII look better than he is (lowest ranked rookie qb in the NFL this year.
Jimmys and Joes are part of the equation.
Heupel inherited a low class and has done well with the hand he inherited.
But one would think that Heupel, as a former QB, would recognize that his QB is killing him and bringing his vaunted offense to a screeching halt.Hendon was good, but Heuple as a former QB is gonna ride and die with his choice. Milton was #1 until he got hurt. Hooker took over. That's why Nico only gonna get wash time and it's gonna be vanilla
For sh*ts sake, the guy ran out of bounds two years ago on the last play of the Ole Miss game when time ran out and didn’t even release the ball to give us a chance to win. Then again this year, runs out of bounds on a free play short of the sticks when he’s one on one with a guy half his size, but should’ve just launched it downfield in the first place. There’s no way in hell Nico shouldn’t have been starting this year. But one would think that Heupel, as a former QB, would recognize that his QB is killing him and bringing his vaunted offense to a screeching halt.
So who is it on? We know what Joe brings but the coach just can’t seem to let go.
I think it would be negative future QB recruiting . Idk though just like you.But one would think that Heupel, as a former QB, would recognize that his QB is killing him and bringing his vaunted offense to a screeching halt.

That’s actually a good point. Assuming we beat Vandy, eight wins with this guy at QB is about as good as it gets. Which makes it even more concerning he didn’t at least get Nico more snaps somewhere along the way. Worrying about a redshirt is plain dumb.Nope! Actually the opposite. Have you seen Hooker's stats before and after Huepel? Have you seen the stats of others QBs in Huepel's offense?
Milton is just not that good regardless of what Huepel or any coach does. Its a miracle job to win 8 games with him at QB. Can you imagine Milton in any other offense? No, becuase he wouldn't survive as a starter.
Dude, I’m not saying Nico should have been starting early this year. But to use your words, “for sh*ts sake” know when to change your QB or introduce some competition into the equation. Again I’m not saying many people will be sad to see the Milton era end. Just don’t think Heupel thought Nico was ready. I do know the plan was always to bring Nico along and him start next year; this was discussed with him and his parents. Not saying he was right or wrong to stick with that plan but fact is we’re not as loaded as a team like Bama or Georgia. It’s not as easy to play a true freshman with no risk. Nico will be bigger, stronger and have a better grasp of the offense next year. The ball will come out quicker than it would’ve this year. He will take less hits and the hits he takes will be less likely to injure him. Is that right or wrong? Hell idk. I get it’s frustrating. I hate it but we weren’t going to be a great team this year. It's hard to say, but roll the dice with the kid. See what he can do. I for one am thankful Joe has to leave this winter.
