Not terribly that sold on tcu

But even that aside, (same scenario as i mentioned) they could be added later if the big east fell apart in a few years

...you also just don't want the big 10 to wake up and start making moves (unless someone's a person who just really, really want west Virginia)

I understand. I'm just thinking I'd rather have TCU than WVU or ECU. Hell I'd rather have SMU than WVU or ECU.

I'd be down to take any of the following TCU, The U, N. Carolina, Duke, VT, GT, Oklahoma, & Tejas.

Carolina & duke won't go anywhere (and realistically, even the best bball schools only bring in about half as much as football)

GT left and gave us a middle finger on the way out; their feelings haven't changed

Texas wants nothing less than being able to have its own network without shared revenue. OU wants to go to the west coast and is determined to take okie St wherever they do go

Let the dominos begin to fall......Big East called a special session tonight in NYC.

I think Mizzou fits the Big 10 better, but would not driving 3 hours to see my Vols in Columbia.

So there's an unsubstantiated rumor that the SEC may have been talking to Missouri. That hardly = Missouri is now in the SEC.

If that link is to be believed, it says the SEC has already failed once.

What if the Big 10 comes calling, too?

If you want to wait to read the newspaper to find out what's going on, feel free. Otherwise, go ride your bike, stay off the forum or quit *****ing about it.
Link? Link? Link? I get tired of seeing that crap.

It's my opinion that Mizzou is coming and I don't need a link to give my opinion on an opinion forum.

Much happier to have them than WVU. If we expand to 15/16, I still think a look at TCU should be given.

They definitely fit better in the Big 10, and I think they know that. But they have to make a move, and right now the best option may be the SEC

Well quit posting your opinions as if they are facts.

In case you missed it, there are already several threads on realignment. It was hardly necessary to start a new one to share your insightful six-word opinion.

The main fact is that through your posts, you appear to be one of the biggest whiners on this site, which is quite a feat.

Regardless, there are a number of other teams in the ACC i'd take before them

I don't think the SEC commish and you see eye to eye on that. From what I can gather UNC is Slive's dream get but that's very unlikely to happen and FSU is next in line with VT in 3rd. That unspoken handshake to block other instate schools is bs from what I've read and the ACC buyout isn't going to stop any schools from leaving for the SEC if both parties want to make it happen.

My guess is A&M, Mizzou and 2 of FSU/VT/Maryland/Clemson. IMO JMO

Is anyone hearing that A&M might be having second thoughts. No I do not have a source other than the Oklahoma City newspaper link below, but it was on the local radio reported that T. Boone Pickens is calling on Gov Rick Perry to talk some sense into A&M to keep it together. Pickens said that the lawsuit from Baylor is real and won't be dropped. Pickens is reportedly trying to negotiate A&M to stay in the Big 12 and work with Texas on dissolving the Longhorn network. Pickens is not happy about Oklahoma State going to the PAC 12. Just what is being said on local KC radio which covers Big 12 in particular (Mizzou, KU and K-State).

Aiming low with my wishes because it's my opinion that it'll be very tough to steal an ACC school especially since they're in the middle of expansion. TCU is a very realistic candidate because the Big East is imploding. USF is a possibility.

We may very well have to stop at 14 for now because there's simply too many logistical issues with expanding to 16 right now. Do you want the SEC to still be the nation's best gathering of [x] amount of teams or a hodgepodge of elite and not-so-elite programs?
