Here comes the new BCS rankings....

And we have no worries of a team jumping us. We beat LSU and we should increase by at least .50 again, depending on what happens with the other teams on our schedule.

Cal still ranked ahead of us. hellooo... If we hadn't put our cheerleaders in in the 4th q we would've scored 60 on them...

First things first... SEC Championship. It would take alot of things to go our way to even conceive a hope for the National Title Game. First things first SC needs to beat Florida and we need to beat #13 LSU. That will help us immensly. Then we beat #12 Ark. Wind up the season and beat #5 Auburn in the SEC Championship. Once all this comes to pass then and only then even mention the Chmpionship Game. FIRST THINGS FIRST, ONE GAME AT A TIME!

I think Florida is ranked too high in the BCS and Tennessee is too low.

But a lot more football to go, so it will work itself out in the end.

BCS= B divided by C= BS.....Just win out guys that's all we can do, you can't separate the love affair bteween the PAC-10 and the computers....Along with Notre Dame....It's pathetic

so i tried writing a piece on how UT moves up, but it got too complicated. Bottom line, UT wins out and we move up, up, up in the polls

USC losses to a 3-4 Oregon State team and REMAINS ahead of UT whose loss is to #4 UF by 1 point. Haha. I dont mind that happening because all it does is make people continue to laugh at the ridiculousness of the BCS. If we win out we are fine, bottom line. So, this really doesnt matter much. But it sure is funny.

Lawgator, is UF ranked too high because your team played a UGA team that you said had absolutely no chance of beating the Gators and Florida couldnt even capitailze on 5 turnovers for anything more than a 7 point win. Haha...guarantee...Georgia beat Georgia, not the mighty Gators. I can't wait until USC week and you make another guarantee that UF has NO CHANCE of losing to USC.

The loss to the Beavers makes the arguments about USC's or Cal's ranking moot. One of them will win the Pac-10 and get the auto bid. The other will have at least 2 losses and will play in the Holiday Bowl. Neither will reach the championship game unless some very, very, very strange things happen. And on top of that, USC has Oregon and Notre Dame left on the schedule, and both teams have UCLA. Don't be shocked to see both teams finish the year with 2 losses.

That PAC-10 bugs me to death. We took the best that creampuff conference has and un-a$$ed them.

Wow. Just wow. Looking at the computer scores only, Cal would be #3. By converse, RUTGERS has a better computer average than the Vols.

What a travesty the computers are.

I can't believe this we are #11 after being # 8 in all the poles , beat the team in front of us , loose by 1 point to # 4 have a rougher schedule than the 6 teams in front of us, this computer they are using is sick it smells of a BAMMER virus or a FLA. worm or too much input power by ND.

On your first point, I imagine USC is geting some love from the computers for beating Arkansas at Arkansas. You guys are missing that marquise win right now. But, if you win out, I would think that your style points would go way up and USC will lose at least once more, so they won't be a factor down the stretch, IMO.

As to your second point, you seem to forget that Florida did everything they could to give that one away. UGA's two touchdowns came right off of two Florida fumbles. The Florida defense is as good, if not better, than advertised and so, as I promised you, Florida did in fact win the game.

I don't know enough about this year's Vandy team to make a prediction. I do not like the external circumstances, however, which is that some UF players will probably be looking ahead to SC and I think, at this point, that there may be a lot more going on internally about Tebow and Leak than meets the eye and it worries me.

Florida is in as vulnerable a spot as it has been all year. Just no clue as to whether Vandy has the horses to take advantage.

I'll predict SC's chances when its time but right now, assuming UF beats Vandy and is playing to win the SECE, at home, with the crowd juiced for Spurrier's return, then I have a hard time seeing SC have much of a chance at all.
