Have you ever worked in a manufacturing facility in the south where the management was college educated and the workers weren’t ? Trust me it happens .

We have a highly educated, better than everyone guy at work who does our scheduling for the type of material we run. He's responsible for typing up the paperwork with all the details for a particular pattern. Our machines have gears, cams, and other such mechanical things. Anyway, he had all the info for a particular pattern we were going to run. I looked it over, and knew the paperwork was wrong for what they wanted. I went to the office and told my supervisor, who took it upstairs, that's where the smart folks work . A little later I was called to the office, and several bosses, including the extremely smart schedule guy, was in there. He was fuming because little ol uneducated me said he was wrong, and I was told not to question the paperwork. So I put the gears and such he wanted, and the pattern came out wrong for what the customer wanted. Not only did they lose time and money, but had to change it to what I tried to tell them in the first place. Every time I walk by him I just grin . He was so butt hurt that I dare say he was wrong.
