I think the problem is that you needlessly narrow the definition of "educated", and where you have to go to get it. Thankfully, that's changing in the tech field.

Definitely. It's become the Hydroxychloroquine of civil unrest. If POTUS is against it, the media is for it and will portray it as a good thing and vice versa.

So are they terrorists or not? Most on the right seemed quite giddy when he tweeted they were. If they truly are then should we just allow armed terrorist groups to take over parts of us cities and extort the residents? Everyone cool if a Muslim group does it too and declared Sharia law?

I graduated high school with a few people who were what would be termed functionally illiterate. It was just a failure of the schools and parents, generally, and usually a sign of a problem the adults would rather ignore and not a sign of their intelligence. Maybe because my dad didn't go past the eighth grade but was a very clever and capable man I've always valued learning over education. Anyone can get an education, but it is a far smaller number that can learn anything they need to learn when they need to learn it.

If he says ANTIFA is a terrorist group then they are . Therein lies the problem , this group isn’t hanging ANTIFA signs everywhere that says we took over a city . This is the collective of CHAZ . Extortion is against the law , if anyone is doing that the local law enforcers should be on that case and doing their jobs .

whether antifa or not (they've claimed involvement), this is an armed takeover of US soil and no one is lifting a finger. It's the very definition of terrorism and all the post-9/11 acts we've passed should give broad powers in response

I don’t see an armed take over . I see some 2a people expressing their rights to carry . I do find it odd that leaders of Seattle and the media are now proponents of the 2a . Other than that it’s a group of 2020 style hippies occupying some city blocks . Could be peaceful but I’m guessing the longer we leave them alone the more dysfunctional they become .

Yep, let it run it's course and maybe the voters in Seattle and Washington as a whole will stop electing people who allow this to happen.

I disagree. Trump should not be federalizing the guard in any state. This is a local issue and until the governor asks for help the feds need to stay out of it.

This is an absurd post. They've erected barriers and have armed security roaming. They've instituted stop and frisk to see who is carrying. That's 2nd amendment stuff?

I would call them anarchists at this point but it could escalate into terrorism. What is this an important point for you? For Republicans, labels aren't as important as supporting the rule of law. There is no law and order there right now
