Here we go again!

We'll be as ready as a young team can be, and I think it'll be a good game. We'll miss Von Pearson and Josh Smith, but if other players can step it up and play to their potential, we'll make it a game. If UT loses by anywhere close to 19, it will be very disappointing.

Ole Josh Smith may play! I wouldn't bet on it but he hasn't been ruled out.

It will certainly be close and there will be turnovers and crazy plays. It will be business as usual when UT and UGA meet. All i can promise is that it will be fun

I think if we hold Georgia to 150 rushing as a team. Tennessee gets 125 as a team. We win the T/O battle. And Darr can actually punt for more than 35 yard average. Then UT has a shot.

Prediction if this happens. UT 27 UGA 21

If this doesn't happen. Then I say UGA 31 UT 16

I totally agree, except , if we hold UGA to under 150 rushing and we rush for 125+ , it will be a lopsided score in UTs favor. I have no reason to believe that will happen , though. The only way we match those stats is if Georgia is flat on their face or hungover. They're too talented to play as crappy as they have and will bring their best game to us.

I'm hoping Malone and Croom step up big against UGA, so we can give Josh Smith another week to heal and have him at full strength against the Gators. I really want to end that ridiculous losing streak this year.

It's that time of the year! Your young and talented Vols are headed down to the Classic city to face my Bulldogs and I already am so excited that I can't work!

Can you stop Gurly?
Can we stop anyone through the air?

Going to be a great day in Athens. Hope everyone traveling has a safe trip and let the trash talk begin. Go Dawgs!

How does it feel to cheer for the most overrated team in history? Georgia should not be losing top players to rival schools. And as much talent as they bring in, you'd think they contend for SEC titles every year....NOPE

Vols put 9 in the box and Hutson fails to deliver. Rebuilt UT Oline is much more serviceable in second act. Malone finds his grove with two bombs, Pig hams it up. Tennessee Stud Hurd trots to within 30 rushing yards of Gurley but has 38 more receiving yards.

Vols in a stunner: 38-27!

Here come the CBJ - UM coaching rumors are stoking red hot! CBJ urinates on the hot embers with a Power Pee shape T and signs 5 year extension with handsome raise!

Dog eat Dog!: Richt on semi-hot seat after being outcoached and outplayed by the Young Bucks from God's Country. Three UGA 4-5* recruits decommit, consider official visits to Rocky Top.

Muschump soils himself in public after watching Cam Sutton knock the freckles off of Sony in a vicious but legal hit.

As early as it is in the season I know that the Vols could not hang with a top 10 team on the road and the Dawgs did. I don't think we can stop the UGA ground attack for 4 quarters and I'm guessing that Richt won't repeat their mistake of trying to force the passing game if he has a lead. Vols only chance is to get a double digit lead early off of the long ball and the return game and force UGA to throw the ball for first downs. Longshot for UTK as reflected by the spread.

You have a stable of running backs. We have a stable of receivers. However our strength is stopping the run. Your weakness is stopping the pass. Advantage VOLS!

:salute:That's more like it! Those young, opportunistic Vols have the leg up (and you know what I mean.....picture Smokey's rear leg up) on this year's version of the SEC's anemic pass D's and less-than-audacious body slammers. No more beat downs by dawgs or gay duhs or bummers or whatevers. It's one of those few seasons when a young, uber talented bunch can take advantage of their over-rated opponents' "off" year. Richt, indeed, overachieves and Butch has zilch interest in starting over in woof-er-ine country. Hey, VN light-weights, dawg boy might be sort of polite, but he/she's still a troll. I dunno'. Maybe those tossing "likes" at it should rent a room in Athens so y'all can get acquainted. "Liked" your post, Huntland and always appreciate hard core VFLs. UT 31, Mutts 24:rock2:

Georgia $&!@ they might beat this Tennessee team but when is the last time they won a really big game. Another year another super talented ga team under achieving under Richt. Won't be long til UT will be owning Uga just like we used to! Every ga fan secretly fanstizes about when Richt will be gone.
