Here we go again!

Gamecock fan here. I got a 100$ bet on Tenn pulling the upset. My gamecocks exposed Georgia's secondary so I believe Tenn can take advantage of that. I expect our secondary to catch heck from the vols as well so I'm being unbiased in my opinion.

Ole Josh Smith may play! I wouldn't bet on it but he hasn't been ruled out.

It will certainly be close and there will be turnovers and crazy plays. It will be business as usual when UT and UGA meet. All i can promise is that it will be fun

on the Locker room show,Packard said he is still in a cast and not to expect him anytime soon,I have no idea how accurate that is

it should be a really great game, nothing like playing in the SEC against a hated rival, the Vols have played the Dawgs close under CBJ

special teams will make or break it for the Vols,UT has to get better production from all aspects

and don't over look the Dawgs running game, there damn good at running the ball, but the Vols Defense is much improved this year,as it all ways comes down to in the SEC,line play, will the Offensive line of the Vols take a big step forward and give Worley some time to throw ? and open some holes for Hurd ?

will the defensive line be able to collar the Dawgs running atk ? I think the game is going to be a close one,who will make the field goal in the 4th Quarter and win the game?I say the Vols 27 to 24,in a barn burner of a game

It's that time of the year! Your young and talented Vols are headed down to the Classic city to face my Bulldogs and I already am so excited that I can't work!

Can you stop Gurly?
Can we stop anyone through the air?

Going to be a great day in Athens. Hope everyone traveling has a safe trip and let the trash talk begin. Go Dawgs!

Mr Gurley is a puny Girlie Man

Seriously though, our d (or pretty much anybody's) is not going to completely shut down Gurley. Our D needs to limit his yards after contact to prevent the explosive plays. And obviously we need to bring a running game, not just to take presssure of the OL's protection of Worley, but to keep UGA's offense off the field.

That is because he didn't play vs UT last year.:loco:

On a more serious note, what's the current feeling about Richt in Dawg land? Seems every year about this time, everybody wants to fire him b/c you're not undefeated. By the end of the year, he can do no wrong and you're already talking about next year's NC. Given your ridiculously easy schedule for the remainder of the year, will this year be any different?

Last year the UGa bullFrawgs got lucky and got the W.

We got the W against USCe.

This year USCe already fried the bullFrags legs and our Vols are much improved and faster.

Like last year, UGa is overrated and I believe this game can go either way on just a couple of plays.

You have good RB's and so do we.

Your O line is better and more experienced and ours are young and inexperienced but 4th ranked Oklahoma couldn't back them down and make them quit and that was a true test by fire so UGa won't make them quit either.

Our Passing game is better and your D backfield is your weakest link.

We have 2 WR's out but we're now back to being WR U with a solid stable of great WR talent and that just might be the difference.

I'm drinking the Big Orange Koolaid and my Big Orange glasses are on but I see a big upset coming and a Vols WIN between the hedges.

This will be the start of several years of Vols WINS like it used to be.

After the Big Orange WIN the talk with start about trying to find a new HC that doesn't consistently underachieve with some of the best talent in the SEC.

We are seriously rebuilding Brick by Brick and that trend will continue and a WIN over UGa will only help boost our recruiting as top recruits see even more where our Vols are headed.

Great Question. There is always a vocal minority that want to fire Richt because he hasn't won the big one yet. However, I am a little older and wiser than I used to be and I don't fall into this trap. Who are we going to attract away that would do any better than Richt or has a better chance in the SEC? Saban, Strong, Tumlin, those guys arent going to leave for UGA. I think Richt will win the MNC at some point if we get the right staff in place (I am on the replace Bobo train). Fact is he has the best winning percentage of ANY coach in UGA history and I think he is an exemplary role model to young men.

I hope UGa keeps their head coach forever.

His most consistant attribute is underachieving every year with 1 of the most talented rosters in the SEC.

I love that in our opposition, LOL!

Same reason I hope FloriDUHHH keeps muschUmp for many years.

I would be more concerned with having the right coach as opposed to worrying about other coaches that your team can't beat. Some of you guys talk as if Saban is coaching your team.

He is 6-4 all time vs Tennessee and if we win this year we will even the all time series. While you feel he is underachieving we are beating you and other SEC teams at a rate that UGA fans haven't seen before. Do I hate that we lose 1 or 2 games a year that we have no business losing. Absolutely! But I am also a fan from the Goff/Donnan so I know how far you can fall. Also, how is that firing of your long term successful coach working out?
