They are certainly beatable.

Hell, we beat SC by more than twice the margin as did GA.

Usually I am incurably optimistic. Even during the worst of the Dooley/Butch/Pruitt years, I always felt we had a chance against Georgia. I think for the first time in my adult life, I am holding out no hope for this game. Maybe I can actually relax and not get too upset for a change. Hard to experience disappointed expectations if you don’t have any 😂.
Man but we looked terrible last Saturday

We are a semi ambulatory MASH hospital of a team right now. If we can keep 22 healthy players on the field for 60 minutes I will be satisfied

Won't be a east or west anymore. Top two teams go to the Sec championship. Unless they change it in 2025. Texas and Oklahoma will compete.

This upcoming class will be 3 years of Hype, you would think we should improve next year, however, I am very concerned about our ol, who is going to replace them, will they be as good, better, or worse?

This is the first time all year I'm going into the game knowing we will take an L. Before the Missouri game, I didn't feel this way but reality has sunk in. This team cracks under adversity and don't appear deep enough to play a tough game. The lack of speed at LB has been exposed or recognition is a problem if you get a RB out of the backfield in the passing game. I'm talking saying anything UGA is not seeing on tape. The game plan on offense goes stale if we get stopped in the 1st half.

Wow. We literally have a fan from the other fanbase on here complimenting our team and the program, and meanwhile our fans are using it as a means of *****ing on Heupel and the players. That’s just sad.

I am surprised the line is only around 10 for GA, considering the way we have been playing and the way GA is playing lately. I though it would be around 21, but perhaps we are getting some slack since it is in Neyland. At any rate, even if we can keep it close, there is no way the SEC refs will let UT win this game, SEC wants GA undefeated heading into SEC championship game. They didn't call any holds or pass interference on the opponents in our last 3 SEC games (a number were called on the Vols) until about mid way through the last quarter at MO when the game had been decided even though there were numerous blatant holds and a couple of interference situations. They have their marching orders.

The Mizzou game was so laughably and soul-crushingly inept there is zero chance the Vols win.

UGA is a tough out on their worst day but Kirby will have them ready on the road, because that’s what a competent staff does (must be nice).

... maybe it started when UT came back against Penn State, first night game at Neyland, in '72... amplified by Purdue's win over Michigan in '76 and sadly cauterized into my memory last year in Columbia: it's a game, played with an oblong ball, by 20-somethings trying to balance emotion and talent under the leadership of a few men while being watched and yelled at by thousands: anything can happen over the span of a 60 minute game clock. They call 'em "upsets" for a reason - I'm looking for the Vols to show up, fight, and surprise a lot of experts that didn't give us a chance. Go VOLS!
