David Beatty inherited a terrible situation at KU. I believe that this is the first year that he has the full 85 scholarships available. He seems like a real good guy and was on the Mangino staff when they went to the Orange Bowl. Unfortunately he will probably not see the end of this season. They have a new AD Jeff Long and I would expect he brings in his guy by December.
