It’s how this all works. Bad losses count more than wins do. This season looks to have more bad losses than big wins. That will always turn up the heat.
Look at the schedule. Show me the 9. If we lose to Bama/ UGA and Oklahoma then we have to beat Florida and NC State. We also haven’t beaten Arkansas in 17 years. I don’t see it.
I have failed to make my point so I’ll try one final time. Heupel’s seat is in no way as cold as it was after the orange bowl. Thus it is a bit warmer. How much is all subjective.
Yeah I feel you. Heupel should get until at the very least ‘25. It’s just that last year “How long should we give Heupel?” didn’t even seem like a question.
Honestly, it's still not a question in my mind at this point. We will probably be 8-4, possibly 9-4, hardly a disaster in what everyone agreed going in was going to be a transition season. Problem is, the taste of success last year, way ahead of schedule, made many believe we were already back even though it was clear we were still 2-3 recruiting classes away from being close to that level.
How do you know what the OL will look like? Also Nico will be much better than Milton. It’s gonna be better. The days of us going 7-5 for multiple years are over.
No SEC quality starting QB tends to do this to a team.
No quality QB changes the whole dynamic of a game. Play calling (offensive and defensive), flow of the game speed, making other players better, and actually # of penalties.
