Heupel hesitancy his only downfall.

Whenever a player isn't performing at a certain level time for change. Hès a good coach just gotta know you gotta have a leader on the field that leads by example.
Milton sure does lead with his mouth. Every time he runs the ball he will stand up and look at the opposing player in the face and they have a conversation. I guess it’s one of those things where if we are winning the football game, it’s not that big of a deal. But in a loss, it looks terrible from a leader on your team. But I guess I could’ve said the same thing about Kamal Hadden last year.

Milton is a physical freak and uses exactly what he was born/blessed with. He gives the impression of not picking up one bit of coaching along the way.

Milton is the least of their worries, oline, lb, and secondary play was atrocious
Agree, too many things yesterday exposed. Herring being slow in coverage, oline not making holes, slaughter getting exposed and losing players in coverage.

Thornton out took away another skill position. McDonlad hurt played a backup majority of the game.

How about Cooper getting outside so fast and recovering the ball? I don't think I've ever seen him so far from the snap point.

people need to slow down on Josh being the answer. He still might get it done and bring a Natty home but yesterday was unacceptable, just like Florida earlier this year, USC last year. This wasn’t a game in Athens or Tuscaloosa where we just got out talented in a meaningless game. It was against Missouri, a team that we have far more talent and resources then. It was to keep our East hopes alive and we didn’t show up. People using the depth excuse or lack of talent accuse or “it’s a tough road game”, no. This was Missouri, not Georgia. It’s a big problem.

Yeah, but what's a fella to do? Can't play younger players. They don't know how to put on their uniforms or where to line up. And they might....gasp...make a mistake and give up a big play. No, we need to stay with seniors. They might be slow and unathletic, but they look great and line up well.

Yep, is Heupel Butch 2.0? We will find out in the next season or soon after. Very disappointing in the way we played against Fla., Mo. we can’t have nice things.

Like the Florida game, we got whipped in the trenches. It’s that simple. Schraeder ran for 1,000 miles and we couldn’t run the ball at all. Joe isn’t the guy that’s going to put this team on his shoulders and go win with his passing attack. The play calling is a mystery on certain down and distance calls and the lack of willingness to get our more dynamic players into space on those plays is apparent.

Defensive scheme is a problem with our secondary out of position and letting receivers run wide open all the time. D-line has been a bright spot, but struggles because the offense is chronically three and out this year. We need to get some young O linemen up to speed and grab two or three out of the portal. Martinez needs to be shown the door. Make the call to Derick Mason and at least have that conversation. Ellerbee has been okay, but one of the best in the business at OL coach (Pittman) is going to likely be available at season’s end. You at least have to have that conversation too.

He’s approaching the level of Butch in the interview game. His interviews and press conferences are not fun after a win. After a loss they’re nearly intolerable.

Well, the UCF fans mention that Heupel ran a "4 play" offense and that it was effective because the opponents defense got gassed and the speed of the offense led to confusion. They also bemoaned his tendency to avoid the middle of the field and lack of use of the TE. One post in particular kinda summed things up:
Yeah. He hired a good DC. It’ll be interesting to see if he can maintain it or things will start to decline like at UCF. With NIL and massive donor and other money, he should be able to overcome his past struggles, for whatever reason they happened. Something was just off, so what happened benefitted both schools. Shout out to DW, the greatest AD in America, for making the deal that benefitted both programs.
